He had plenty of good subs on the bench, if he wanted to keep matching opponent for intensity. He put on all his defenders instead.

Unfortunately for Messi and Nazi sympathizers of South America - Spain has an intelligent coach who doesnt sabotage his own team. InshAllah Spain will be world cup winners. The world is not fair, but I would like to think there is at least some justice. It was unreasonable of us to think the biggest chokers in football, 2nd only to the Dutch would be capable of taking down a well drilled VARgentina.
It's crazy to say this: but I now have more respect for Pochettino than I do for Tuchel. I hope the English FA hand him a ticket to Germany after the 3rd place game is over.
The stars completely disappeared. Jude and Kane barely left a mark in this game outside of fighting and getting into the shenanigans. Other than the Gordon goal, England only matched Argentina for Intensity, which fooled people into believing that they were out playing them but there was barely any football being played during that entire stretch. Once Argentina started putting the ball on the grass England couldn't hold them. Of course the German is to blame. Can't blame "our boys".
Yeah, the tactics were bad but the implementation was equally bad. Park the bus doesn't mean park your arse. You're still supposed to move.
Dude am not English and I don't give a shit about Tuchel being German. He took off a winger and put in a CB at the hydration break with still 25 minutes to go, any momentum they had was gone when they started bunkering. Bellingham was playing as a DM and Kane was chasing after long balls, that's why they were nowhere to be found. Did they defend horribly? Yeah probably, then why play that way if it's not suited for your team. He has got some really good pacey wingers on the bench, why not at least pin back back their wingbacks, instead Montiel kept getting free crosses, or overlapping Messi and leaving him free to cutback and cross. Did the same shit against Mexico and barely made it out.
In the 82nd minute, Tuchel made 2 subs. The English players had a discussion in the middle of the park over who was playing what position. They looked so confused as each player was pointing in different directions trying to sort it out. That was the iceing on the cake for me.
The players celebrated beating Mexico as if they beat Franz Beckenbauer's 1990 Germany. When Tuchel tried to pull them down they reacted with the same kind of "actually maybe I know better" than you coach, energy we became accustomed to in Madrid this season, I can't have been the only one to notice. Argentina has had comeback after comeback, if you know your team, and spent time watching Argentina, you could tell they'd come back into it. Not saying Tuchel coached a masterclass, but the better team won.
This is squarely on Tuchel; The English players didn’t cover themselves in glory but they were let down by their coach…. he should have seen this coming…
When the team wins it's "nah nah nah nananananaaaaah" and poses for the cameras but when they lose it's "squarely on Tuchel". Enzo is a fantastic ball player. A lot of people need to put their bias aside and see it to believe it. What a player.
Wrong. England ********ed up badly, that doesn't fix obvious errors dozens here were pointing out with every passing minute of the game. For starters, Enzo gets a red with a punch to face, so he shouldn't have been on the field. Messi left his foot on Djed spence in the play during their 2nd goal- that gets flagged as foul 9/10 times with 5 minutes of VAR check, if it were Spence leaving a foot on Messi in the exact same circumstances. This is not to say we didn't screw up. We did. Royally.
They have tenacity . That's it. They know they can play a mix of shitty football with kicking around and also whip in excellent crosses/string some great passes together and score a goal when the opposition is looking to shut the shop. Spain is technically better side & deserve WC the most.

You keep forgetting this is exactly what happened in 2022? Argentina is FIFA's love-child. Someone mentioned this elsewhere and it makes perfect sense- The only part I disagree with is his claim that there is no rigging involved. If it regularly happens in politics, then you can bet it happens in the most popular sports as well.

Lmao Messi removed his foot at the last second so the moron above has to use a still image for their narrative good find, celito.
