Like I said pre-match , England eating a team with a heavy shirt in a WC .. I will believe it when I see it . I told my friends , if Argentina ties the match … it’s over . Big bottle job . Even Losing aerial battles against short forwards . It’s like when they went ahead they thought … we are not supposed to be in this position . Their legs trembled .
Because they overrate how good England actually are . Not like England were running over Argentina before Gordon scored . It was an even match and Argentina were even growing into the game .
Norway were stripped of, imo, a valid goal. Mexico too, were better in 2H and pinned England down in their area, they somehow survived.. Tuchel was just as shocked as the players when England took the lead, seems like it was never the plan because he didn't know what to do afterwards.. Every time this England team played in a low block, they took it up the ass, did Tuchel not realize this? England progressively became worse with every game in the WC..
I still think Spain will win this. They will control possession and I doubt Argentina recovers like against England and Egypt
Spain can sweep up those Argentina crosses, press up high, physically bother the cvunts..oh and Cucurella will see red in that game..
I think this still leaves Mbappe behind Zidane and maybe even Henry as French goats. The Euro win pushes them over the edge, whereas Mbappe as a team leader and talisman has not won a title with France in multiple WC’s, EC’s and even has nations league to stat pad his way to scoring records but not titles? Arguably with guys like Balogun and Olise, the best English players don’t even play for England.
Obviously the Argentine gobshite said something for Jude to react like that. 😱 ¡EL ENGANCHÓN DE BELLINGHAM CON LOS JUGADORES DE ARGENTINA TRAS EL FINAL!#NuestroMejorMundial #NuestroMejorMundialAS @jfelixdiaz @as_tv pic.twitter.com/9Y8rlgG2TL— Diario AS (@diarioas) July 15, 2026

Can you stop saying Spain will sweep this? That cartel in blue/white plays like Paraguay, but they actually have talent. Moreover, you know the referee and that fraud from FIFA will be making sure everything goes according to plan for his lovechild.
England also had referee help with a goal that shouldn't have been a no brainer, no questions asked taken off the scoreboard. The formula for many teams has been to play their worst game first game, improve everygame after and play their best game in the final. See Spain 2010. See Spain now.
There's not much FIFA can to stop Spain if they play a flawless game. You can't tell me FIFA hasn't paid everyone it thought needed to be paid to see France in the final. The plan carried Argentina and England all the way to the semi's but they never came up against teams that could actually play mistake free for 90.
If Algeria sucked that badly against Austria, people would say they lost on purpose to avoid Spain in the R32.
And we can see Diego in heaven, With Don Diego and La Tota, cheering for Lionel!!! Vamos Argentina!!! With all the voodoo and magic, a 39 year turning back the years, miracle goals but still this team can play some slick football. I hope he does it and rides off into myth and legend. Lisan al ghaib, voice from the outer world, the messiah will lead us to paradise!!! And yes its allll scripted. Scripted by God!!
Without Harry Kane (pre-2018), England reached the semi-finals or better at the 1966 World Cup (which they won), Euro 1968, the 1990 World Cup, and Euro 1996—a total of four deep runs spread over more than 50 years. With Harry Kane as captain, England have reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup and the 2026 World Cup, as well as the finals of Euro 2020 and Euro 2024. Although Kane has not yet won a major trophy, his achievements in leading England to the latter stages of tournaments have effectively matched what the nation accomplished over the previous five decades.
There's not a whole lot that 's likeable about England crowding the ref and trying to pressure them into FIFA corruption mode and make them understand it's not the best team that should win but the team which is most profitable. Serious not tho, England went full Cule with the ref crowding - just when I thought a new rule was put into place to correct such behavior.
Tuchel warned the team they need to be better after the Norway game but "tha laaaads" were more interested in singing vindaloo. Started off very well and matched the opponent for Intensity but later on ran out of gas.
