Too many important players lost for Belgium and they didn’t have enough after that. Even then if that joker doesn’t spill a straight forward shot from distance maybe…… maybe.

Spain too well coached. France - Spain will be very competitive. Vamos France!

It's funny because this is exactly what happened to Belgium today.

Absolutely shitty how cameramen try to get into the huddles with teams when coaches are speaking. Espaically right after they’ve lost a big game and emotions are running high. These are human beings we don’t need to see everything on our TVs. Give them a few mins man.

Belgium was just hanging.. too many key players out or already too old. Spain would have won no matter what. Good match in semis now!

Salemaakers going past Simon and then crossing to Lukaku who has a defender on him has to be the funniest shit I've ever seen.

Doku is just enigmatic. For someone with that agility and explosiveness, he has such poor motor. When hes not at his physical best (like now), hes absolutely lethargic. Yet most of the danger comes from him. If he had Vinicius' lungs and energy he would have been a BDO candidate. He makes zero runs behind, always waiting for the ball to feet. Disappointing.

So I guess Rodri isn’t as finished as some said. :D

And Rodri is back. Just controlling everything. Just back on top.

His issue has been availability rather than quality. Club schedule is brutal. Mou chose Bernardo it seems..

I can only add that lamal is maybe half the player he is in Barca. He is not even a factor in the game. the whole NT is based on olmo, Rodri and our very own cucurella.
it was super frustrating to see lamal just trying to pass the whole Belgium team and pass the ball.

He might just not be a big game player yet. Hopefully that never changes.

What's that 1 G/A in total this World cup so far? Lol
But he has unbeaten record against Mbappe. That needs to change

Rodri has made 62 line-breaking passes in the final third at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the most in a single edition since Germany's Toni Kroos in 2014 (also 62).

Spain have been fantastic. It's a team effort. That's why players refer to the team as we/us all the time while other players on various teams speak about themselves. They're going to play it like this till the end and I think that's admirable. Players go in and out the lineup without a hitch.

Courtois seems to be getting injured very frequently now.

Yup, was just thinking today one Portuguese Mendes could hook us up with is Diogo Costa, he's looked excellent for Portugal. not sure we will find a new Tibo anytime soon but it definitely ain't Lunin.

PSG want him as a starter apparently. Porto wants 60 ME buyout fee.

It's honestly amazing how a relatively limited player like Merino is that decisive/clutch. He just knows where he needs to be whenever his team needs a goal.

Same as Doku for City. Or Mbappe for France compared to Madrid. Attackers today are specialized system players.

Eh, Mbappe has been great the majority of last season for Real Madrid. We were a mess as a team. And Yamal was spectacular during Spain's EURO win (and in general for Spain). In fact, I'm surprised he's not playing well this WC. It happens. Doku? Well...it seems to me he's consistently playing at a similar level everytime I see him, whether for Belgium or City. I'll let everyone decide for themselves what that level is
