Even kickers with their attention to detail of their craft miss. It is mostly a mental thing.

Heck playing American football is mostly mental. The better people have talent and/or work ethnic.. but the key thing is mental strength.

The delay plus the fact he is going against another very good player means there is a higher probability of failure

Mbappe so good, I just hope we won't remember him for his performances at world cups only.

I'm happy for Mbappe and Tchou. The French team isn't unlikable.

But, do it for Madrid please Mbappe.

Is Mbappé a world class player?

    Was it a poor penalty?

Hope Norway vs England will be good. I remember the hype for Brazil vs England in 2002 World Cup with both teams having so many superstars. And the match was pretty good too. Brazil choking prevented that re-match in 2026 WC.

R9 joined right after RM won 3rd CL in 5 seasons. But he never won a CL with RM. In fact, he only won 1 league title in top leagues. His career is mostly remembered for World Cups. Hope that won't be the case with Mbappe. He has time still and hopefully health to win major club titles though.

Something tells me Bellingham will get a yellow vs Norway and miss the SF with Argentina.

Props to Deschamps. He’s killing it right now. And we shit on Rabiot a lot but that dude played great today.

    Comes as no surprise.

Argentina will make it to the final with relative ease.

Love hearing pros like Patrick and these guys talking about the game. They bring up a great point about defenders being scared and not being made to look like a fool at the world stage.

Yeah Rabiot has looked decent and this side is being managed extremely well.

While Argentina needs late game dramatic heroics vs lower ranked teams to keep advancing

France are jogging to the final while making the other teams like they don’t have a chance

I know there is no such thing as "deserving to win" when it comes to winning a tournament, but France are genuinely the team that have looked the most impressive and complete so far. When you account for the fact that they held their composure and were very professional vs. Paraguay, they deserve it IMO.

We will see if Spain goes through what they look like vs another top 4 team. Morocco is #6 and they didn't look bothered at all

    #37 Sweden
    #34 Paraguay
    #6 Morocco

If England goes through. This World Cup is just Euro 2024 lol. France probably wants payback for Yamal's "habla ahora" ("speak now").

France too smooth sailing, I think. History tells us something always happened. Meanwhile, some struggling team always do well. But then, I have a feeling that the Swiss might end Argentina's run. I have not seen a single match played by Switzerland. A team that no one cared always ended up in the semifinal. I skipped your Colombia's match.
