Fr. Me and my dad were laughing because we were saying earlier how unlikely a header was due to the height difference. Japan said "Hold my beer.".

How can you not like Japan? Their team has passion and punches way above their weight. Consistently gets to quarterfinals. Best team in Asia. Their fans are some of the politest and considerate fans in the world, who clean up after themselves.

Meh, the Dutch are NFL player FC right now. They totally lost their identity, granted that identity never meant any actual trophies but they've gone too far in the other direction. Even their "maestro" De Jong is good but not great.

This WC really confirmed my suspicions that the overall world talent pool is bone ass dry right now.

What a fun second half that was. Japan, as usual, never an easy out.

Rinus Michels' Dutch team won Euro 1988. Boring Dutch not gonna win anything.

Perez next signing should be Diomande. Hes a legit right winger.

Decision making at speed is amazing

So Jay-Z showed up at the Ivory Coast game because his company, Roc Nation, represents Diomande. It also reps Vini Jr, Endrick and Martinelli.

Sofascore recorded that Van Dijk didn't lose any aerial duels (3/3). However, for Japan's second goal, didn't Van Dijk completely miss the ball? Wouldn't that count as a lost aerial duel?

Yasin Ayari scores on his fathers home country.

That's why he refused to celebrate.

Was about to say that the Gyokres Isak partnership is another Vini Mbappe then they combine for a goal. Sweden started the game very serious. Big call to drop Elanga. They could do some serious damage in this group. But they are 1 injry to certain players away from being worse than Malta

This referee is enforcing this throw in rule far too strictly. Long throw will never work like this

I dont blame the Tunisian captain for that third goal. Why did the GK give the ball to this guy surrounded by 3 Swedish players?

Tbh Isak was practically on his knees for the last 10-15 mins. The players fault definitely. Isak was never getting to that if the player didnt run towards him

    Gudmundsson off injured. Not good.

Isak is unable to walk. He really needs to come off, cant afford an injury to him.
