Infantino reminds me of John gotti. He's letting all the power go to his head. Instead of staying In the background. He's out getting photographed every where

Just wait until we get the next one in, he will more than likely be even worse than Infantino! Once they smell the money, the greed just follows automatically and can’t stop, won’t stop until FIFA have some kind of internal revolt with major Countries having enough!

On another note but how England or even the UK ( yes I know you hate that term but it’s relevant ) hasn’t hosted a World Cup in what 60 years is just a disgrace considering how many other Countries have had it multiple times.

I second that! Travesty really as have all the stadia, infrastructure etc all ready set up but FIFA clearly don’t want it. Then again after the fiasco of the last bid I don’t blame our Government to give it wide birth either tbh.

Feels like Iran are trying to test if the USA government or FIFA are in charge of the World Cup with some of these demands.

The World Cup has been branded a flop by US hotel bosses - with fans deciding to stay home rather than pay rip-off prices - Sun.

FIFA World Cup matches set to be held across the United States face heightened terrorism risks, with experts warning that vulnerabilities are being amplified by the US-Israel conflict with Iran and a depletion of counter-terrorism expertise within federal law enforcement - Guardian.

  15. Interesting Argentina have actually published their preliminary squad that has to be in today. Wonder how many others will? Wouldn't imagine England would ever do it

  16. Bosnia first country to announce their 26

I don’t think many are expected to do. Some others might partially or fully leak.

He is named after him according to Wikipedia!

He is Alexis of Liverpool’s brother.

Yeah I kind of gathered it’s his brother ( without googling ) unless it’s a huge coincidence considering it’s such an unusual Argentine surname. I didn’t realise he was actually named after the character though, lol. Reminds me of a guy I went to college with called James Bond….

Hadžiahmetović was reported injured earlier. Can you switch players after the deadline if they were already injured?
