Terrible look to be celebrating a very serious injury. Especially given how upset you of all people get reading other fans comments on England players. Two sides of the same coin with all those Welsh, Irish, Scotland fans you complain about (though even they generally wouldn't be happy about something like this).
Yeah he's far from one of their main stars, although he did start for them in the Brazil friendly which seemed to be their best available 11 so he may well have been in line to start the world cup.
I hate seeing athletes get an Achilles rupture. It's generally the worst injury you can get as a footballer. Seeing what it did to Hudson-Odoi's athletic ability - despite the fact he was still so young at the time of injury - was terrifying.
RLC as well. His career was finally in the ascendancy when Abramovich made them play a friendly mid-season in America (for cash) and he did his achilles. I remember Sarri was absolutely fuming as he really didn’t want to have to play the friendly.

ICYMI, the state of U.S. soccer federation centering around USMNT appears to be headed into a full blown shambles. Not to mention that most of our European based players are unlikeable.
Whats going on there? The US have a decent group draw, why the meltdown and what’s with the dislike for the European based players?
