    World Cup setback
The Democratic Republic of Congo has cancelled its pre-World Cup training camp due to the Ebola outbreak.

DR Congo were set to train in Kinshasa ahead of their first World Cup appearance since 1974.

They will now move to Belgium before heading out to the tournament. (Talksport)

in fairness, that is smart management, especially at international level. bring players you trust who will do a job for you. know what they are good at and push them to succeed.

Ours will likely have a Berhalter and a Reyna on the squad — two players with feuding parents, whose fathers both played for the USMNT at the 2002 World Cup.

Sad to see the Americans having to include so many English born players

There's only one I think? Balogun and Musah were not born in England.

Fun fact: Reyna and Berhalter were both born in England during a time when their fathers were playing for English clubs, Sunderland and Crystal Palace in early 2000s, respectively.

It’s somehow reminds me of an environmentalist woman named Sally Jewell, whom I worked for years ago. She was born in London and later became Secretary of the Interior, a senior cabinet position under the Obama administration.

de La Fuente rumoured to be leaving Dean Huijsen out and therefore having no Real Madrid players.

  15. :ROFLMAO:
That would be epic, as Dean was courted by the Spanish FA to get the Spanish nationality asap at his 18th birthday and was asap selected and capped to make sure he wouldnot chose the Orange Squad.
I found it quite odd the Spanish degrading themselves to a kind of mercenary hunt for a spot in the national team.
And now they might cancel him?:D

Both English born, sons of former U.S. World Cup players are in. I don’t know how these two boys would get along since both of their parents hate each other.

I find it interesting, or a bit strange, that the two English-born U.S. players have general American accents, while the two U.S.-born players who grew up in England both have London accents.

Berhalter and Reyna were born in the UK but raised in the US.

Musah and Balogun were born in the USA by families "on holiday" there, but never spent any time growing up there.

I would have expected Gozo to make it, perhaps even Hall (to end the Poland debate and because having a striker who´s on fire is always good) and Mehmeti. Have to say I really like Mehmeti´s game and think he might already be better than Berhalter but going for the youth with all the high expectations of having to perform at home soil Poch will most likely stick with the more experienced players he knows, especially considering those 3 have never been in a Usmnt camp before...
