I hope we make the Nations League final 4 so we don’t have another Friendly post World cup till 2028. Will help us I think,
I don't see that as a worry. The only point of the game is to get them in a match rhythm for the first group game. I don't expect any level of entertainment from this.
Yes, playing a mini tournament as I assume the Nation Leagues finals is, would be great for experience, and also possibly a trophy, not a great trophy, but still a trophy.
This is the sort of match that would be behind closed doors if it was a club friendly. It is a good job Tuchel has a thick skin.
I pretty much think the only real purpose of it is for the players to get a feel of the conditions they will face during the World Cup.
Hope he has some factor 50 on that thick skin of his otherwise he will look like a true Englishman abroad
Just seen him on the TV. He will have to be careful... Reminds me of entering the Mineirão to watch already knocked out England's dire 0-0 with Costa Rica and security binned my sun lotion. Of course the England section was in direct sun throughout.
Some of it will be on the BBC. Watching the clip of the USA goal on the other thread I'm glad I'm not watching on US TV. If I was over there for the tournament I'd have to watch matches on the Spanish broadcasts.
I don’t know if a good performance here would even change Tuchel’smind, but Rogers isn’t the type of 10 we need.
I quite like this one. Thought I wouldn't like the navy shorts with the red shirt but it looks pretty crisp. Nice shade of red too.
I don’t care about the circumstances this right hand side of the pitch is disgraceful. A CB and a CF looking like fish out of water. Should never happen in an England game.
Must admit to being slightly perplexed at how commonly the "Rogers or Bellingham?" question comes up. I'd have thought Bellingham's case was pretty overwhelming but people have got me questioning it now.
