I’m not going to open the whole can of worms but think about the Argentina game if TAA came on right after the goal and then pushed the pace down the right and they would have been fouling him like crazy just to stop him. Would have slowed the game down. But nope let’s put another CB out there. I’m still having nightmares about our twelve foot tall CB not being tall enough to realize giving the attacking player a free header was a bad idea but hey it was because there were four defenders and just one attacker and they got confused.

Saka post match didn’t seem 100% happy with Tuchel. But Tuchel is not 100% secure for the Euros and I suspect the FA will be trying to get the contract extended to 2030. Even through he will be booed anytime we do not win or play well from now on.

Olise finally helped his country of birth! With some awful misses.

If Kane retired today I'd be happy with Rice or someone level headed like Guehi.

Guehi and konsa are both quality but Tuchel has made them look average. But colwill is one who will improve us massively

I'm quite amused that we won a trophy without him and the first 17th place finish we were nowhere near relegation points. We finished 17th because we hired a mediocre manager from a mediocre team and because a more important player than Kane left Spurs...namely Son. Ange sacrificed the league to win the Europa, we wouldn't have finished 17th had he stayed, we'd have been higher.

 

What do you have optimism about? Yeah you keep repeating this, and I think you are wrong.
