In another clip, a different reporter puts Tuchel's unhappiness with the performance to Bellingham, asking if it reflects the manager's high standards. Bellingham replies something like, "Yeah, maybe, or maybe he doesn't know what it's like playing in these conditions against Haaland et al..."

I kind of like it to be honest lol, I wonder if Tuchel does as well.

What really gets me about the moaning is that the same people can’t accept any fortune in the decisions that went FOR them. Do not give the Spence penalty if you want but you have to admit that you are somewhat fortunate to survive it. Nusa gets ripped apart and ends up in an awful position.

If one of our players dishes out a two handed push I’m expecting a foul to be called. I’m amazed the referee did not call it before the goal went in.

With the Norway goal I was fuming at Kane for dawdling on the ball when a pass was on to put Madueke through. Then a couple of players looked to have stopped playing. That is what was infuriating.

It's the sort of thing that can easily get out of hand though.

I like Tuchel's honesty but you can argue it's not a sensible way to act when our media are as they are.

When the defeats eventually come what is he going to be like then? The media will hang on his every word and twist things he says to no end.

It can easily create a sense of spiralling negativity. Southgate's boring and diplomatic approach is far more sustainable imo.

Particularly if we lose on Wednesday when because of the third place match there is a lot of opportunity for interviews etc and the risk of it all going mad.

Personally very happy Dan is getting these moments. He's like an awkward, non-popular, slightly annoying kid who everybody knows about at school but one day gets a cool moment in front of everybody and becomes a legend.

Take that back please. FATAL thing to say. Statements like that have a habit of rebounding badly.

Lucky enough as well. This time their opponents were down to 10 men.

So let's look at things up until now and let's look ahead. Both England and Argentina needed extra time to win whereas Spain and France went through with workman like performances. England came back from behind but struggled whereas Argentina, apart from the first few minutes were in control of the match but won against 10 men. They've scored 6 goals in the last 2 matches and we've scored 5 and our defence is still a bit rocky.
So what sounds right for the final? Spain v Argentina, Spain v England, France v Argentina, France v England? We have a good record against Argentina but should we win then we play maybe against a team we've only beaten once in the last 9 meetings...........fairly woeful. Hard call. If I had to put money on it I'd rule out Spain v England and Spain V Argentina.

I find it amazing he's even considered as a pundit. A League One bit part player in England, who was only a regular starter for two seasons in his entire career, and that was in MLS. No international caps and finished at 31. What insight is he going to offer? How good the subs bench is at Meadow Lane?

Like I've said before, CBS Golazo's trash. There's a great YouTube video from a few years ago ripping their Asian Cup coverage to shreds.

I still find the Rice-Eze switch baffling, midfield became completely open. And the constant changing of midfield was a big reason for being second to Norway in large parts of the second half. So Tuchel should take a look at himself before lambasting his players.
