Well, I certainly wouldn't. He's a known rapist. He makes my skin crawl. Kane hanging out with him doesn't mean he endorses his politics, but it is certainly questionable judgement. The truth is he probably just doesn't pay attention to current affairs.
To be fair, I think it’s easy for me and you to say no thanks Donny, I’d rather swim with sharks but I’d imagine for Kane it’s a more delicate situation since he’s the captain of England and in some way an unofficial ambassador and was probably advised to play golf with the narcissist just to keep him happy since their could be other issues at stake.
Nyland had the game of his life against Brazil, I guess capable of repeating it again but he was a dreadful keeper when he was playing in England. Let's see if he can repeat it again. Definitely has a regular mistake in him though, and we are surely due one from the opposition keeper this tournament!
Rover, my friend, I'm happy you know you're a hypocrite Have some faith. Remember, Norway have to find a way to not let Kane score.
That's a great documentary but it has horrible vibes given who we're playing today. Certainly a dark time for English football and thankful that we're in the position we're in now.
Lawrie mcmenemy and Phil neal didn't help taylor one bit. They were yes men who repeated everything he said. He needed proper football people around him
Yes thankfully. Taylor was even a controversial hire because he never played in top flight football and international level or won a major trophy. Still though, he was a good man and treated quite unfairly by the press. One of the good things about social media today is that it's virtually eliminated tabloid journalism. Many people in that line of work are scumbags.
Trump wasn’t president at the time. I think it was a couple of weeks before he took office again over the Christmas break,
Marc Guehi expected to win fitness battle to play against Norway, with John Stones in line to play alongside him at centre-back. Ezri Konsa set to play at right-back and Noni Madueke is expected to play ahead of him on the right. https://t.co/vB8HMBj50k— Sami Mokbel (@SamiMokbel_BBC) July 11, 2026
I think he's still not fully there physically. He'll no doubt come on with 30 minutes to go or something.
Madueke is fine, though his tracking back will need to be better than he has been. He'll give his full back a tough time as he has every match and soften them up for Saka. Saka probably only has an hour in his legs and its going to be pretty brutal conditions out there today. My bigger concern would be there's a lot of risk in that defence of Stones' sharpness, and Konsa. It would seem strange to me that Spence wouldn't come in at right back.
Interesting. Wonder his thought process is on that one. He’s been right all tournament so far but it’s an interesting call. Feels like he’s really protecting the right backs and Saka a lot. Trying to make sure no injuries are trigger so if we’re through, they are fit and ready to go.
