The full-back situation just looks a mess now. We only have one backup full-back in Spence and six ********ing centre-backs.

It might not matter if we get lucky with fitness but it's another instance of Tuchel unnecessarily risking key positions by not taking sufficient depth.

I don't mind if it's a few but there's a real excess of players who are simply there to make up the numbers and won't get any minutes.

My post or Tuchel’s decision. I posted it because it had extra information as to when he will turn up.

Sky Sports News saying Chalobah has been in the USA on holiday. Surely that is not a factor.

Suggesting Chalobah to be called up as right back. Must be just trolling at this stage.

This world cup doesn't rest on a reserve rightback but we'd better pray that James can play every minute

Makes sense to call up Chalobah. At least in Tuchel's mind.

I'd play Chalobah instead of Quansah in almost every scenario where Quansah would be a consideration for minutes, so there is that! But truly baffling decision from Tuchel

Well you'd hope it made sense in his mind, giving he's the one making the decision!

James saying he can play every match could either be a prophecy or a curse.

I honestly thought tuchel was different to Southgate but his decision making is as baffling at times. More so. Why can't England managers ever pick players to go round pegs in round holes

  21. Just can't get the thinking. Tuchel is as bright as they come, He must have a theory of the case, but what the hell is it?

Guehi, Stones, Konsa, Burn, Quansah and now Chalobah at CB
James - then Spence, Konsa, Quansah at RB
O'Reilly - then Spence, Burn at LB.

    Should anything happen to O'Reilly....

It’s the type of decision thatwill be non story if we do well and one bought up a lot if we don’t (Even if he doesn’t play a minute’.

Or if something happens to James in the first couple of matches and then something happens to O’Reilly. Not very likely but it’s a risk.

Well, all his tall mates anyway.

Look on the bright side, with the 3.5in gain we get from replacing Livramento with Chalobah we might move up a few places on the average height league. Maybe even equal or ahead of Germany!

If James gets injured, you have play Spence as starting RB now really (at least in my opinion) he's the only other RB option that gives you anything going both ways. Hopefully James is managed and Spence takes some of his minutes as a sub, I'd probably have Konsa covering some minutes there also over Quansah and Chalobah, if Spence is on the field deputising for O'Reilly.
