Argentina also based in Kansas City. I'll blame them. Just heard the loot was tracked down by Tickles the dog.
Oh, l don't know. Scott Carson stole a living for 5 years as City's third choice keeoer and came away from it with one CL and four PL medals. Crime, in football, really does pay.
People are joking about it but it’s a massive embarrassment for a host nation when teams stuff starts getting robbed. I don’t think I’ve heard of it happening at a recent tournament at least?
The vast majority of the stolen items have been recovered ahead of the England squad arriving in Kansas today. No major panic in camp regarding players being left without vital equipment etc. https://t.co/JkZOP5O9Rf— Matt Law (@Matt_Law_DT) June 13, 2026 Thomas Tuchel has warned his England stars they will need to win TWO penalty shoot-outs if they want to lift the World Cup | @johncrossmirror https://t.co/43o0Q3h1tU pic.twitter.com/9cDPbkw8JR— Mirror Football (@MirrorFootball) June 13, 2026 Article suggests Burn and J Henderson are not expected to play any minutes and might be part of the unlucky 5 who get no playing time.
My thoughts on that is that Brentford would probably not allow it. Or that the effect Tuchel wants, would not be the same. I am sure Tuchel considered it.
I would say if they have unimportant stuff like balls, manequinns and white boards stolen. It is embarrasing for the host. But if they lose irreplacable things like personalized match boots, than that is something that the FA should have made sure could not happen.
I don’t think the FA have much choice logistically but apparently nothing of great importance was lost.
Apparently they broke in and stole burn and Henderson but its ok...because the next day they broke back In and returned them
Talking about Henderson and Brentford. My Brentford season ticket holder friend said Henderson disappointed some of the Brentford fans who traveled up to Anfield (He himself didn’t travel) for the last match of the season by how he seemed more interested in the Liverpool fans than them. This is after a season where Henderson has been pretty popular with Brentford fans.
Stones will be vital at making astute passes while like you said Croatia aren't the fastest team in terms of attacking threats. Probably presume England will have a lot of possession.
Why is it so surprising that Bellingham's starting? To me there was never any doubt. Regardless, happy to see the Costa Rica starting XI will likely be going up against Croatia because that's a hell of a group there.
According to Craig Hope the robbers broke the teams table tennis equipment as they attempted to steal. No word on if a replacement will be sought. The dartboard has survived but no word on the darts. Tuchel’s whiteboard has survived. The mascot Leo the Lion also wasn’t taken,
The Telegraph suggesting Kane,Toney, Gordon, Bellingham, Saka and Rice are Tuchel’s main penalty takers.
I doubt he is going to have 5 of those 6 on the pitch after 120 minutes. That wouldn't allow for many attacking substitutes, aside from Toney. We need more than 6 top tier penalty takers. They're all obvious penalty takers anyway and we shouldn't be telling anyone who else is high on the list.
Meh...pretty much small potatoes compared to the rest of the crap going on here in the US of A! Besides, it's S.O.P. for a FIFA event!

I'd be interested to know how this has been reported in The States. If this was the other way round it would be front paper news.
Haven't seen a single thing about it. Though I don't watch American news or read their papers. Mainly because they can't spell.
