So far Mexico will be kicking themselves if they don't hold on and win this. South African has zero attacking threat going forward and just look slow.

 

I think playing the third placed team from France's group is just as likely as playing DR Congo or Uzbekistan. I don't see how anyone can confidently predict either of those two sides to get 3+ points from that group. It's a complete unknown.

Senegal and Norway are both likely to get three points at least.

 

If we top the group, I think we play 3rd place from Group K. Thats probably Uzbekistan.

I don't think that's anything close to a probably personally. We only play the third placed team from that group if that team actually qualifies as one of the eight best.

DR Congo are very strong defensively and struggle going forward. Every chance them v Uzbekistan ends in a draw and both of those sides get 1-2 points and both go out.

Assuming they qualify. Uzbekistan vs DR Congo is a critical game, anything but a draw is needed there.

 

Mexico appear to be playing a very quick, very direct style here, almost like something out of the English lower leagues

 

We need to hope Scotland can manage a draw against Haiti. As many as possible draws between the two weakest teams in other groups than K helps.

Yes, England should cope with Norway or Senegal. But DR Congo or Uzbekistan would probably require less energy. And England need to be fully rested before a match in Mexico.

Based on odds there seem to be a probability of about 70% that it is not a draw. Looks like this is their last match, hopefully both teams will go for their first world cup win ever.

This is horrible football. If you stuck either of these teams in the Premier League, they'd both be relegated by Christmas.

 

We shouldn't be worried about Senegal or Norway. Senegal are definitely a threat because of their high technical level but take out haaland Norway are just a very good team with a lot of physical players. I know I'm going to get some shit for saying this but I'm sick of fearing other teams all the time

 

South Africa are the weakest team in their group by some distance IMO.

Mexico have to play South Korea in Zapopan. Maybe South Korea can win the group.
