I feel sure (well I hope!) that Tuchel knows all his combinations and substitutions depending on how the games go. If he doesn't yet know his first 11 for the game against Croatia were screwed! :)

I think he knows, he’s keeping players on their toes to generate competition and drive training sessions and performance.

You can see him toeing Rogers and Bellingham along … oooh maybe it’s Morgan, I dunno Jude played really well today I love what he did second half.

Interesting give or take management. Dunno if it’ll work but I’ll be looking forward to the lineup on Wednesday.

Croatia just beat Slovenia 2-1, probably with their starting 11. We're doomed ...

Are the reports about the shooting near the base true? Crazy stuff

You mean the same Slovenia we could only draw 0-0 with at the Euros, with a team containing 6/7 of the players who'll be lining up against Croatia?

Trafford and Livramento on today’s Lions Den. That’s the third one after Stones/Burn and O’Reilly/Quansah

Will be interesting to see who Bellingham does it with - he normally does these things with Trent. Rogers, James or Henderson are my guesses.

Yes, that Slovenia. I remember, it was painful, because by not beating them we put the group win at risk. One goal for Denmark and it would have been England who faced Germany instead of them. But we got lucky, Denmark did not score and Denmark got to be the ones being knocked out by Germany. Instead we won the group and made it all the way to the final, although with some pretty close calls.

I can't see anything about shooting near the England base. Hopefully, it is nothing ...

Saw a podcast that same writer is on. He thought that Dan Burn and Toney is Tuchel's plan B. Also said Rogers is a better presser than Bellingham and that maybe why he may start.

If Dan Burn is Tuchel’s plan B I hope we never in trouble then.

England's 6-0-0 whenever he makes an appearance. It all makes sense now!

Watched the entire game (had a bet that Slovenia would draw).

Croatia controlled the game but had numerous mistakes that better teams would've capitalized on. Modric still has the goods as a 40-year old and will be their best player. If England score first, I really like our chances to win and I think England will create some decent opportunities and probably have a few handed to us against Croatia.

Yes, I know sarcasm/jokes seldom work on the internet.

Not related to England, but I just read about Switzerland having problems with snakes in close proximity to their training ground. Turns out Argentinas training camp is right next door.

    That'll benefit Euro teams specifically.

So they change the rules to advantage teams that don't hold the ball when we finally get a midfield that might just be able to do that!

They were saying in commentary that in England's data analysis team, they ran data sets on this and that regardless of the conditions, it is still beneficial for teams to play a high press and possession game over sitting and waiting for an opportunity to happen.

Well, if that's the case, the water rests benefit teams who want to play like that, not those who are sitting and managing energy.

Anyone else think these "water breaks" are for US TV to get some more ADs in?

Considering that Englands players always seem to look more knackered than the opposition in tournaments, my first thought is that more breaks benefit England.
