I am pretty sure they did. I picked my team and now there is no option to go back and check all the available options.
I can’t recall it ever been so tricky to select what squad Tuchel will select. We know he likes versatility and there’s now so many players that can double up or even tripple up in many positions. For example, if Lewis-Skelly continues to have a strong end of season playing in midfield, I think he could be a genuine option since he covers left back and midfield. Tuchel likes him and the only reason he was probably not selected in previous squads was due to a lack of playing time. Equally there’s also a number of players who you would consider risks due to fitness issues. I think it’s really tough to be honest.
Tuchel has also surprised everyone with his recent squads. So, it wouldn’t be a shock for the same to happen again. Some of his experiments have also backfired and provided more questions than answers.
Interestingly all the West Ham fans in my extended family think Bowen has had a poorish season anyway. When stats wise that’s arguably not the case.
What is that you have specifically seen in Loftus-Cheek's game that makes you think he'll make the WC squad?
Daily Mail article says don’t bet against Lewis-Skelly making the squad. https://www.dailymail.com/sport/foo...tration/p/api/user/user_check/&isMobile=false The Independent meanwhile posts a sensible article but for the fact it bizarrely thinks Trafford’s lack of playing time means he is behind Ramsdale. Media stating to predict Hall won’t go… https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/england-squad-world-cup-2026-tuchel-b2949948.html Predicted England squad for 2026 World Cup Goalkeepers: Pickford, D Henderson, Ramsdale. Defenders: James, Livramento, Stones, Guehi, Konsa, Burn, Quansah, Lewis-Skelly, O’Reilly. Midfielders: Anderson, J Henderson, Wharton, Rice, Mainoo. Forwards: Saka, Madueke, Palmer, Bellingham, Rogers, Gordon, Rashford. Strikers: Kane, Solanke.
I too would be pretty surprised if Hall makes the plane at this stage. Tuchel still hasn't started him at left back despite playing 4 other options there so far this season, which already seemed to leave him up against it and probably needing a strong end to the season to keep his name in the running, but instead he's been dropped at Newcastle.
Do performances matter. He was very good coming on against Japan. Far more attacking than O'Reilly. He was also injured for most of the squads.

Not that I guess it really matters but it seems entirely unnecessary to have a need for a 55 man provisional squad in the first place? I can't think of a single reason to have it.
