We finished ahead Switzerland on the Nations League and they are better than Poland. One thing is to say if we would smash them or win by small margins, but make no mistake, in 10 games at the WC vs Poland we would win at least 7 of those 10.

And we probably beat them. A victory over them is over due. Stop being scared or root for brazil.

Out of curiosity, if we lose to Korea and somehow we have to face Brazil will you call for Santos to be fired?

I think the second Argentina faces a Spain, Germany or even France, things will get real for them really quick. But it may be awhile.

Take Messi out of that team and it's bang average.

Argentina only faced one team so far that took the game to them and that was Saudi Arabia and look what happened. Imagine one of the Euro Giants.

It's not good news Mendes or Danilo not being available for the rest of the competition. Another reason to finish first is to get one more day of rest.

So Argentina gets a bullshit penalty, Messi missed and no one says anything about it?

If that was Portugal and Ronaldo it would be all over the media. This penalty is more controversial that Portugals.

    sick of the double standards

Agreed. Ridiculous, espn treats him like a king, he’s their little golden boy. Can’t stand it. “King Leo” LOL a team that lost to Saudi Arabia, he gets gifted the softest penalty ever and misses it hard. No one says a word. If it was Ronaldo “Penaldo Pendugal jajajajaja” finished Penaldo. I can’t stand Argentina always barely scraped by then they get easy paths always. Bang average team with goofy looking players. Idk who I hate more them or Germany or Belgium. Trash lucky teams..

Morocco have got to be the dark horses of the tournament. In 2018, they were an up and coming team and showed it against Portugal. We know first hand.

Should Canada sack their coach? He did distract the team with his stupid comment about Croatia and gave the Croatians phycological motivation. You don't want to give a prideful country like Croatia extra motivation in game. It's the stupidest mistake i have seen by a coach in a long time.

I think Canada has a bunch of speed and strength but no tactics. I think a coaching change is needed. In my opinion, Herdman got lucky and inherited Canada's best ever generation. Get a coach with a real credible history, show the world you are serious about making a real mark for 2026 and not just moral victories.

Moral victories get old very quick. I can't even watch Canadian post-game commentary because of it.

Spain and France making a good case to Santos to not make wholesale changes to the side

Flopping implies they underperformed, I dont think this is true for belgium as they are just finished in general. Only kdb is left in terms of top players

Things are much different now. So now if we finish first in the group, we may face Spain in the quarter finals and then possibly France or England in the semi finals. A lot tougher now.
