Have at it brehz's and wimminz. Enjoy wimminz futbol in all its feminine glory thats not MLS. Anyways, mucha suerte at our mexican wimminz NT. *No pern/Brmw9 allowed* /huero
Here's the groupings: sheeeiiittt...just saw Mexico's WNT group.......hopefully they make it out..for 3rd place seeding.. Here's the Schedule: Today's results: Canada vs China 1-0 N. Zealand vs Netherlands 0-1
Well i know France is always a favorite to win it all , england is not a big deal but still I think they're better than mexico and idk about Colombia but I wonder if any of their players look like the fans we saw at the stands last years in Brazil
China was unlucky not to draw after that amazing free kick: They were very organized and discipline but Canada got away with it. The Netherlands-New Zealand game was pretty much even but the Dutch deserved that win as I felt they were more deadly in their shots. And as an aside, here's one of the most unfortunate name pairings, Gu Yasha & Wang Lisi, that you'll see in a World Cup match during the Canada vs China game:
GROUP B NORWAY vs THAILAND - 1 pm. eastern on FOX Norway are winners of the 1995 edition of the tournament but that golden age is in the past as the Gresshoppene failed to get out of the group stage last time around. They are about to face Thailand, who qualify through the AFC because the North Korean were banned for doping which allowed them to get that 5th spot for their First ever WC appearance . Though the Thai are considered the weakest team in Group B, all play in the Thai women's league which makes them an unknown. I can't see Thailand doing much in this match, expect a lopsided score but those Asian teams are very disciplined so expect the Norwegians dominating but having a hard time to make this a beatdown! PREDICTION: Norway 2 - 0 Thailand GROUP B GERMANY vs IVORY COAST - 4 pm. eastern on FOX and NBC Universo Germany, the juggernauts of this tournament, are looking for their third world cup after annihilating all their competition during the 00s. Including a 3-0 beatdown against the U.S. in front of their neckbeard fans in Portalnd back in the 2003 edition. Going against poor Ivory Coast, that also qualified for their first WC as the 3rd best CAF team. You'd expect anything other than a lopsided scoreline on this one but the Ivorians have two good strikers that play in Russia (poor girls) that could occupy the German defense. PREDICTION: Germany 3 - 1 Ivory Coast
That 2nd gol from Norway the defender literally ducked from the ball that led to the header what a fuking joke the women's game is.
this chick from worked asked me the other day if i was excited for the women's WC just gave her a blank stare and said no
Lots of chicks are excited. And Lots of their boyfriends giving them the same blank expression. Lol Some dudes just don't care. It's cool.
GROUP D - Group of muthafacking death!!!! SWEDEN vs NIGERIA- 4 pm. eastern on FOX and NBCDeportes.com Sweden goes against the best African side but I expect an easy win for the team ranked 5th in the world. PREDICTION: SWEDEN 3 - 0 NIGERIA AMERIKUH vs AUSTRALIA - 7:30pm eastern on FOX SPORTS 1 and NBC UNIVERSO The greatest nation of all time go up against the Matildas from down under. Tough matchup for the lady nads but after constantly beating up on minnows in friendly matches for the past year many project them to be number 1 in the group. PREDICTION: FREEDOM 23 - 0 AUSTRALIA (But Sydney Leroux will only score 11 goals, no quadruple hat-trick) GROUP C CAMEROON vs ECUADOR- 7pm eastern on FOX SPORTS 2 and NBCDeportes.com Another African team goes up against another fellow minnow in Ecuador. Both teams are debutants in the World Cup and will be interesting to see how they play against each other. But look for both teams looking for a win to possibly qualify as one of the four best 3rd place teams. FUN FACT: Ecuador head coach Vanessa Arauz is only 26 years old. Making her the youngest coach in a FIFA tournament PREDICTION: CAMEROON 1 - 1 ECUADOR JAPAN vs SWITZERLAND- 10 pm. eastern on FOX and NBC UNIVERSO The juggernaut of the Group, Japan; the defending champ; now on the spotlight; no longer the underdog; looking to show that dominance that has catapult them to being a football power on the world stage. Switzerland is no slouch either, the projected second place team will give the Japanese a true test in the opening match of the group. PREDICTION: JAPAN 2 - 1 SWITZERLAND
How weird is it that Fox decided to put NIGERIA/SWEDEN on Fox network but not TEAM HASTAG/AUSTRALIA on Fox network.
They have aired games over the weekend on FOX but considering the time schedules for team Bald Eagles interferes with their prime time lineups they had to throw it to the cable channel FOX Sports 1. Also, they know the ratings for "So you think You can Dance?" will outperform any sawker game.
They delayed the start of Mexico/USA game in 2014 by like 10 minutes in order to finish the McDonalds All American basketball game or something.
