Both teams crushed Belize ... Costa Rica 8-0 and Panama 4-0.

Then on Sunday, despite complaints about the officiating, the Ticos escaped with a 2-2 draw. In the final round of qualifying, they will face Mexico, Cuba, and host nation Canada.

USA earn World Championship berth, Jamaica head to playoff

The USA maintained their record of having qualified for every FIFA Under-17 World Championship, defeating host Guatemala 3:0 on Sunday to claim the Group A title in the CONCACAF Under-17 Final Junior Tournament.
The USA ended the round-robin event at Estadio Mateo Flores in Guatemala City with seven points from their three matches, ahead of Jamaica, who Sunday came from behind to draw 1:1 with El Salvador. The result left the young Reggae Boyz on four points and sent them into a playoff with the second-placed team from Group B for the third and final Confederation berth. The winner of Group B, to be played 26-30 March in Canada, will earn the second automatic entry.
