It's a thought...I have to get high-speed for my PS2, though. Owning the game itself might help as well.

Slightly off-topic, but anyone who comes to this thread may know, so....are there any ps2 games aside from the fifa games out there that have decent MLS features? Thanks in advance.

its pretty simple just take a phone line and attach it to your network adapter then put it through a phone jack. BUT be sure you have a net prvide, example earthlink, netzero etc.

That's where it gets tricky. I don't know if I have that yet here or if I can get it cheaply.

Unfortunately, the Xbox version of the game doesn't have the online feature. I'm still buyin it for the Box though. Better graphics, better sound, better gaming experience.

    Marginally better.

It's also the size of a 1970's vcr but whatever.

The only good XBOX exclusive title is halo.

    Get a play station.

Can't afford both, so I went with the platform that has the better titles. PS2 is it.

    Depends

Question is what kind of internet does your school use? T3? Dial-up? Cable? Or do you have to get it yourself?

Cause most dorms give you 1 really good option. Depending on the size and how much money the school went out to shell for student internet conection.

We're connected through an LAN and the school. We also have a phone line, but it's being used for the phone.

well my laptop doesn't play any thing beyond Fifa99 my nhl99 works as well.... so I recently got fifa 2002 (pc), and play it on my roomate's computer as much as possible.... he'll walk in i'm playing I always feel bad, but it wont be forever, one day i'll get a brand new computer.......

Anyways, being that my situation how would this league work? Would there be a schedule system? where I play person 2, then next week person 3?

Could we play friendlies? Shouldn't this be done with more than DC United fans? like let's say an all out US FIFA 2004 league? I mean we could get a real league instead of four - seven ppl, we could have 15-25 ppl or more...

and how could it be even with each club being different, (in ratings) such as in if I played as Santos Vs. The Crew, would there be an aggregate system where my opponent would play as Santos on the second match?

Or would we all play as DC United Vs. DC United?
