After playing the demo for a while I'm not impressed. '04 is the first FIFA game I played since '99 and apparently not much has changed. I actually prefer '99.
2004 is way better than even 2003. I don't care if Winning Eleven is better. When and if it actually comes to the Xbox (in America), I will buy it only if it has the FIFA license or makes it very easy to change the team names. I don't see why Konami doesn't have the license, anyway. I know that all the things I could list here as major improvements that EA made this year are things that have been in WE for years, probably, but they are improvements nonetheless and have made this year's game much more realistic and like the real game. As long as someone is trying to improve, which EA is with all of their sports games because of recent competion, it is not right to keep getting onto them about it. Play Winning Eleven or whatever other game you want, but give credit where it is due. FIFA is not the best game on the market right now (it is if you want the license and who doesn't), but it is getting there fast and is not a bad game or unrealistic, although there are still some parts that maybe aren't. -Von
Yeah, gameplay for that is pretty crappy... But ive played the euro 2004 demo, and its SOO much better.
