Is anybody else addicted to the FIFA games that come out on Playstation 2? I cant wait till the new one comes out in November. Hopefully they will make DC United a little better than the minimun requirements....EPL teams are not THAT much better.
Not on the Playstation, but I do play the FIFA games on the PC. I can't wait for the new one too. It's supposed to have a 'champions league' feature with all the exact stadiums, instead of playing in San Siro or whatever almost every game.

As a matter of fact, I'm in the middle of an MLS season on FIFA 2002 right now. DC is currently leading the Eastern division, having gone 6-0-4 in its first 10 games.
how can anyone be excited about FIFA when the new Championship Manager is going to be out soon... as it says on the box... "It's the most important game of your life."
I hope so, that version is just amazing. I am really hoping for more statistics, though. It's always been Goals and Cards as long as I can remember, when you know it wouldn't be that hard to put a lot more stats in there.

you guys should check out the Games forum. armassoccer has posted some good links about FIFA 2003. I am geeked for this game, too. If it's anything like WC 2002 I will be all set but....I think they've improved on it mega so it should be really awesome. E.g. if you are winning the CPU will throw players forward, etc... and become more aggressive on defense, etc.... The dribbling is supposed to be more realistic, too, and certain players give you different a 'feel' for the game based on their attributes. We'll see soon enough...
From the way I'm seeing the snapshots from the link, it looks like they'll follow through with FIFA WC's game play.
I made my own 4-team "Atlantic Cup" tournament with the Scum, Liverpool and Tottenham. I beat Liverpool 1-0 in the semifinal, and Spurs 1-0 in the final. Of course, I did a lot of buying and selling to improve DCU in my own image. Here's my current lineup: Rimando Campbell Nelsen Stam Riise Bergkamp Gerrard Etcheverry Sinclair Convey Pires I'm gonna trade up for Ali as a sub. No Reyes, though, dammit.

I got them off since 98, except for WC02 and I guess 2003...fifa 2002 is great though. I had United for a while with Donovan and Crespo and Donovan and Batistuta, with Etch and Keane behind them...and got rid of lil' girl alegria and bounch of others...won numerous tournaments to say the least. Now that United became DC Urinated...I stopped playing them, call it my own way to forget about this season. Then I switched over to the Premiership through my favorite club there...West Ham, the current trailers of the foot of the standdings I took Moreno, Etch, Mastroeni, Pope, Bocanegra, and a defender from the now defunct Mutiny, oh just added Donovan there too...we're doing pretty well, managed to beat Arse-anal and Manbreaster. Now I play West Ham and Real Valladolid from La Liga...I took Moreno, Etch, and Donovan there...though Donovan doesn't seem to do well there...guess I'll have to up his skills when I'm done.
In my dorm we have a multipad adapter which allows up to 8 people to play. Almost always we have a 2 on 2 going. There isnt a game where a controller isnt nearly broken or shattered. Can FIFA 2003 be played online? I would love to school some of you.
I'd like to know the answer to this too. My friends and I used to play 2001 over the modem so I don't see why '02 wouldn't have that feature also.
I wish there was an easy way to find him, as I looked for hours for one, but I had to resort to just creating him. Same with Dalglish.
Ahh...I'm too lazy to create a player. I guess it comes from doing "Create-A-Wrestler" most of the time. It's bloody exhausting.
