Biggest takeaway is the switch from Ignite to Frostbite engines. This will be included in the EA Play reveals on Sunday afternoon (FIFA 17, TF2, BF1, etc.)
Oh well, baby steps I suppose. I loved making a custom character, sticking him on a lowest-level English club, and have him lead that club through promotion season after season. This journey thing is almost that.
you don't want to live the life of Alex Hunter??? Yeah I maybe in the same boat, not sure if I need a story line in my Fifa... if they still have the regular career mode I'll be fine with that.
If I could create the player, and the team they played for, awesome. Last thing I want to do is play as a ManU player, f that.
J1 league to be included. https://www.easports.com/fifa/news/...social&cid=8399&ts=1466737203566&sf47084464=1
The Tuesday, September 13th demo release date has been confirmed, as have the demo teams and stadiums: -G
Very nice demo! The gameplay seems refined yet familiar, while the graphics (at least on my PS4) looks even better than before, not surprising for anyone familiar with the Frostbite engine used in the Battlefield series of games. Also, the players and coaches now really look like their real-life counterparts more than ever! And the segment of The Journey included in the demo was pretty interesting, from Alex Hunter's dialogue choices (it appears that he has a choice of a Fiery response, a Cold response and a Balanced response, each of which will apparently have differing consequences later in the game), not to mention how different the feel of the match itself was between choosing to play as the whole team (ala playing a regular FIFA match) and choosing to literally play only as Alex Hunter. All in all, I can't wait for the full version of the game in two weeks. -G
That's only for the demo. In the full version, you'll be able to choose from any of the EPL teams. -G
Eh, still not impressed. They should have picked big teams through out Europe, many 4-5 teams from the top 5 leagues. Who wants to play as someone at Stoke or Burnley?
Me, that's who. I loved creating a character, slotting him into the roster of a League Two club, then having him - coincidentally with the same name as me - leading the club to promotion year after year, culminating in Premier League domination and Champions League trophies.
Stoked for J-League being in this years title bummed that neither of Japans national teams will be though. Has anyone read/heard confirmation on MLS teams yet? I need my Loons to be in there.
