Please tell me the grounds crew is getting rid of all the gridball lines for MLS's premier event.

They used very light lines for the last Patriots game. I fully expect a World Cup quality soccer pitch on Sunday.

    Hoping for the same here.

Patriots played Sunday but are off until the 27th so they don't need to have even faint lines out there.

Hopefully 3-4 days of rain, now followed by another few days of sunshine, will help the grass grow so that they have to mow it and the lines will be less visible!

    Aside from the lines...

they're expecting some rain/thunder showers Saturday night...

I've always wondered what the players feel about the updated pitch... better drainage, steeper grade, etc. Definitely should help wique the field prior to kick off.

Wonder if its really that noticeable???

At least they won't be playing in a "Puddle of Mud".
