i just took my white n blue f50 FG bk and tryed to swap them but they didnt have any so i got SG have i made a mistake or not?
I wouldn't say a mistake but buying SG boots as we're in the Summer, is a bit silly because if your feet are still growing you could grow out of them in the summer and that's money wasted. If i was buying boots round this time of Year id get FG cos you can wear them all through the summer and all through the winter too, only problem is that after a few years the blades might wear down and be unusable, whereas with the Sg they can be replaced.
Well, as I grew up in Ireland I was always familiar to metal studs, none of this silly plastic stuff. The ground when i was growing up was always soft. Anyway, i now live in N. Virginia where the ground is made of clay with grass sown on top of it. So do I use FG, no i still use SG cleats and i find that they work fine even on the hardest ground, they always give me the best traction no matter what. If you can get replacement studs easily then i say go for the SG, cause they always work. I had Predator Manias SG btw. Many kids in my area feel the same way i do. If you are worried you can get a cheap pair of FGs for practice and save your pretty SGs just for games.

Good luck ny the way mate. But wanted to ask a question. Will it really matter if all my boots are FG, would I be better off buying a SG boot? I live in Ireland. Thanks.
As it ALWAYS rains in ireland, your probalby better off getting some Soft Grounds, they will give you better traction. But it all depends on what you are comfortable with.
got scouted and invited while playin for a sunday league team i was 15 at the time but now im 16, just got noticed really
erm well i have the new white and blue f50 in SG and i just lost a blade at the training ground!!!!! first time ive worn them....... also down the middle of the F50 on the bottom it seem to have a crease in the fabric and bends quite easily shud i be worried about this could something have snapped?
One thing about having SG cleats, especially Adidas' is that you have to be sure to tighten/clip in every time you use them, thats really unfortunate about you losing the stud, I suggest that you go out and get a pack of studs at your sports store so that if it happens again you wont be caught without a replacement. I carry some in my bag. I havnt used the new clip in technology that the pulses/f50s have but i here it is great but cant really be tightened, but that probably had something to do with it. Might be an idea to find someone who owns Sg cleats and ask them. Hope this helps, sorry.
i think im goin out 2mora to get some hopefully will be able to while im here has anyone got any tips e.g. tapeing for tendintius (cnt spell it) below the kneww (jumpers knee) plz help
I'm thinkin of getting Predator Mania's from Shoebacca....and they have my size in SG...I live in wisconsin and i beleive the groudn is clay?...i wanna know if gettin SG's is a good idea.....1/3 of our games/practices are after rain...is it OK to get SG??
Dont get SG unless you are sure, the ground around me is pretty hard but i just dont really like plastic. If you know anyone who uses SG in your area ask them, you may be better off getting FGs.
