Re: Inflation Continues What happens is that you put a little 'toe in the water' bid on, and it holds. You're surprised, but you can't defend it by putting a 'max bid' on after the fact. I would've made my 5.2 into a 6.5 if I could've. The only complicating thing is that the bowlegged ball-trickster who's so far proved useless for widening that inside-right channel for Lennen, Lee Young-Pyo, didn't go off to Roma. I wonder if Chimmy can play either back side. Lessee...Malcolm Christie...
Tottenham Then Ettoko might make the bench. Add the UEFA Cup and maybe an FA Cup run and Spurs will be troubled.
Re: Inflation Continues Click on the price of the player you're 'holding' and you can raise the max bid.
Re: Downing Ralph, You only think you have Downing! He's putting in a transfer request to the Aviators as we speak. I'll give you your choice of Campo, Primus, or Doyle as the player to be named later in our trade. Regardless, whichever you choose, wedding, honeymoon, or not, Downing comes to the Aviators. He's even got it written in his contract that he plays exclusively for Aviators or he doesn't play!
Re: Inflation Continues another little trick i wouldn't have minded knowing earlier - thanks i'd consider an option for next year that allows you to lower your max bid as well. actual bids have to be non-changeable, but i like the idea of being able to adjust max bid before it's been acted upon.
