Well, as it appears that the brief Agostinho Oliveira Era is over, could it be Fernando Santos who takes over as keeper of the seleccao? Oliveira, the interim coach in the wake of the Antonio Oliveira dismissal, most likely coached his last game yesterday with the AA seleccao. For some reason, the FPF and its corrupt president Gilberto Madail do not want to continue with the AgO experiment. For my money, the guy introduced some new blood into the fold, and had the team prepared to play.

I agree that Agostinho's approach has brought a breath of fresh air to the seleccao. He's experimenting with some new players, which I think is necessary to produce the best team possible. Even though the Tunisia game wasn't our best game, now is the time to start looking to other players, even if it's only to show the veterans that they still need to earn their place on the team. If it wasn't for Madail and the corrupt Federacao, Agostinho would probably be given more of a chance to show what he can do.

And remember that when Portugal came back to tie sweden from a 2-0 defecit that was without Luis Figo, Rui Costa, Pauleta, Nuno Gomes, and Joao Pinto. So we have other players that are capable of winning. Granted the winning goal came from Figo, and Costa btu we have a lot of untouched talent in Portugal. I like what I saw from Neca against Tsunia Vian sounded like he had a good game on the radio. And if they don't start playing Simao soon they will regret it. This guys has played so exceptional lately that it's a shame not to see him. I know he missed the games due to injury but there is a game scheduled for Novenmber I'm hoping tosee him start.
