Oughta be a cakewalk for the Champions. Although Nesta will be missed. Starting for Milan - Dida Cafu Costacurta Maldini Pancaro Gattuso Pirlo Seedorf Kaka Shevchenko Inzaghi Bench - Abbiati, Kaladze, Redondo, Rui Costa, Ambrosini, Laursen, Serginho
I'm looking forward to this game. Sadly in Britain they'll be showing the Arsenal-Celta Vigo game instead, but they'll keep us updated with the goals. I'm predicting a 2-0 win, Shevchenko for both.
It's 2 degrees below 0 in Prague (celsius). Several of these Czech players are familiar from the recent friendly between Italy and Czech Republic. Poborsky, Stajner, Hubschman, ....
Better than here in the US where we don't get any televised games today. Unless you're a rare bird who gets ESPN Deportes, I guess. I'm listening to the Italian radio call at www.radio.rai.it .
A former room mate of mine is at the game in Prague. He sits with the Fossa dei Leoni at home games in San Siro and has easy access to tickets for away games and CL games. He'll call me Thursday with a report on what it was like and how good the Czech beer tasted after the match. I'm looking forward to watching Stuttgart vs. Chelsea tomorrow on espn2. Chelsea is almost like an Italian team with so many former Serie A players........and Claudio Ranieri is a Romanista.
The commentator said that it has been an enjoyable game so far but with few chances at goal for both tearms....except that Inzaghi missed a sitter in the 19th minute. Sparta a cakewalk? I'm sure that Lazio thought the same.........
Get Sky. Wow better than I thought, i had Sparta to win 1 nil. Was this game as bad as i thought it would be?
After Milan's comeback against Inter Berlusconi demanded that Ancelotti play with two true forwards or leave the Milan bench. Well, Berlusconi got what he asked for........La Gazzetta dello Sport's headline for tomorrow morning has already been revealed to say Milan two forwards, 0 goals. Good going Signore Prime minister!! And now........FORZA DEPORTIVO!!!
Nar it's not all that bad i fancy them for a 3 nil win if Ancelotti is allowed to use his prefferd formation. However it's going to be harder for Milan now seeing as they carnt accept a score draw.
I just hope Berlusconi will back down, I hate owners who try to dictate tactics. It's pretty odd discussing Milan on an American message board with someone from South Shields.
The result is okay for me. It seemed that the Czech clubs are always tough at home. I am confident that AC will win at home.
Milan completely dominated this game but Sheva and Pippo were dreadful. They should have both scored 2 goals each but they missed a couple sitters. Saying that, at least they created some chances. Kaka was missing, did he even play? I wonder why Rui didn't get some minutes in the second half, Kaka clearly was off form. Tomasson could have been useful but he was hurt and we had to stick with our 2 strikers who were crap yesterday. On the bright side this was Milan's 7th consecutive CL game away from the San Siro that they didn't lose. If Milan can keep on getting at least a draw in the rest of thier CL away matches they will be in the final in Gelsenkirk in May. As bad as the game was it wasn't as bad as Juve played against Depor. I guarantee you Juve buy a big name defender in the summer because thier current crop are awful.
Spartak, I hoped AC is off-target due to the Inter match last weekend.... it is hard to play an away match after an epic match a few days before.
