NES and PDC were too stubborn. They thought they had another Imbula in their hands but we all knew that Brahimi wasn't some flop, the guy can play. Who knows, maybe benching him made him a better player but he does need to play every game until he gives the coach a reason not to.

Corona is another player who needs to start. I'm still concerned about how we only have one real striker and a pylon.

Off to a horrible start. Chaves strikes first off a deflection. Time to show what we are made of. These trasmontanos will not makes things easy now.

The pylon is on. Chaves might have to forfeit now because he is going to tear them up....

    Love the plate presentation Vic.

    Fuc k me.

Quick get me the piri piri because this bird is going to be a bitch to swallow.

Hey what can I say. I honestly thought NES would have been canned by now.

Just shows you I know jack about footy.

5 games 5 victories and today's game showed that this team has some character.

After being robbed on the called back goal and a penalty shot that should have been awarded on Maxi, we dug down and won. I'm not going to bitc h and moan about the referring but jeez. It's so one sided towards you know who that it isn't even funny.

Jeez, even the pylon scored. I'm speechless.

As an aside, the pylon is one big mother fu cker.
He towers over most players in the league.

Excuse me as I have dinner on the table waiting for me.

The pylon is a big dude. Perfect for these types of desperate situations.

the bad part is that Brahimi is going to the CAF for a bit. I really hope Algeria lose 1st round

Marega was useless last year. He seems like one of those players who can only play well in "smaller" clubs. He is having a great year with guimaraes.

Mixed feelings about Kelvin. He will forever be remembered for his famous goal that brought Jesus to his knees but I'm not sure how effective he will be.

    The pylon won't be missed.

If you want to listen to Portuguese radio on your phone, download the app TuneIn Radio - it basically has every station all over the world. I listen to Antena 1, TSF, BBC, Sky Sports and a few others for football matches when I can't watch them (usually on the drive to work).

I'm usually by a computer/android box and just stream the game at home. At work if I just want to listen, I go on: http://www.radioonline.com.pt/

In the car, we have a Portuguese station in Toronto who transmits all the big 3 games so i'm always covered.

Thanks for sharing those links. Much appreciated.

Like you I use an android box to watch games, however when I am on the road, and I'm on the road quite a bit, I use an app on my phone that has been a life saver. This particular app can run on any android environment.

The app I use is called Modbro https://www.mobdro.com/

What I/ like about this app is that it gives you access to a shi t load of channels, including some Portuguese channels without running Kodi. I find Kodi clunky when it runs on your phone.

With this app you can watch Sport tv 1, 2, 3, 4, Porto canal, Sic, TVI and a few other channels like Sic Mulher and so on.

Highly recommended. It's not perfect but quite good.

I love both teams but obviously wanted Porto to win just for the purpose of them actually have a chance to win the league.. But I just don't see us closing the 4 point gap tbh :(
