http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/soccer/us/news/2003/02/03/sanneh_money_ap/ Because of the financial crunch Sanneh and 3 teammates will have to wait on performance bonuses they are due.
This are old and wrong news. Somehow when the media got to know that Nürnberg asked some players to a wait a little on the bonuses, they picked four players including Sanneh. Fact is that Sanneh does not belong to the players. The situation was that Nürnberg's bank account was empty and they are waiting for the next TV rate being paid in the middle of February; they could have solved the situation with a bank credit, but they prefered asking some to wait a little on their bonuses (which are collected and paid four times a year)
I'm curious if, in theory, the players didn't agree to the delay if that would free them up to leave to another club. Does anyone know that?
