Well that was courageous, not pretty, but damn hard playing from everyone out there. Helped that Cincy sucks shit through a straw, how can you spend that much money and get so little for it? Lucho was Lucho, a few sublime minutes and a lot of nothing and missed chances. Second solid game in a row for Gressel. Getting Arriola and Pines back will help immensely.
Message to Hernan Losada, Griffin Yow is sorry about pissing in your cornflakes, so put him for Reyna next time.

I watched Reyna play at Vancouver a bunch of times and I for the life of me could not understand why we got him and paid virtually DP level money for him. He has not changed; he is the same ineffective player he was at Vancouver. I honestly don't understand how he is even on an MLS team.

 

Paredes is a special player and should have been on the Nats roster for the Gold Cup rather than Pines (he has potential but is clearly not ready for the international game). GGG - Ya think the Nats could use a creative player up in attack.

 

They really are a bad team even though they have a decent roster. I see the same Acosta; he has skills but is not a game changer in any consistent manner.

 

Agreed. Paying anything for Reyna, let alone one of the highest salaries on the team, was another epic fail by the FO. Honestly, other than Arriola, Gressel and Parades (and the other kids) I would get rid of all the other attacking players.

 

I'm glad he wasn't, he'd come back in a wheelchair. He gets massacred in MLS, Concacaf would try and break him.
He really needs some time to grow for the sake of his own physical health. 140 pounds and that playing style don't go together, for long.
