    What I don't like is this statement here

    "For us to seriously consider Tucson for a permanent training site," Courtemanche says, "they would need to be able to convert those temporary fields into permanent world-class soccer pitches."

    My question is why? I think Kino worked just fine as it was for spring training.
    Of course if someone wants to pony up the money for a nice world class stadium, I'm all for it, but it's ridiculous to say it needs to be done now.

    Because MLS is in a position to dictate, and Tucson is not.

    They don't need to make radical changes to the stadium. Just the surface.

    No. I have to go to Tucson this Friday for something else, though. Unfortunately, the games are Wednesday and Saturday.
