Game winding down, Porto gave up 16 corners in this game.

Great result--and no less than just what we needed. From the second-worst record of all the teams in the first round to second place in the group. For the rest of today, I am a Chelsea fan--we need them to beat PSG to keep us in qualifying position.

    FT Porto 1 CSKA 0

Porto stays alive thanks to Nuno, McCarthy, and some good defense by Ricardo Costa.

Well done, FCP. If PSG lose against Chelsea later today, then the 2nd spot in the group is wide open...

Either way Porto needs to beat Chelsea in oreder to make it to the next round. Best of luck. I doubt if mourinho will 'rest his stars' durring that game.

Let's not thank Ricardo Costa for that unforgivable pass he did at the end!!! I was so pissed! Also at the beginning when derlei held onto the ball on the 2 on nothing... I was fuming. We won.. but it could have been much better. But, good game overall. Our defense looks like it's right back to where it was last season.

    Chelsea 0 Psg 0
Porto could end up with 8 points along with Psg, if that's the case what is the first tie breaker? would it be goal difference?

I wouldn't put good money on Porto beating Chelsea next matchday, but it's not impossible. Considering the terrain, playing away in Moscow, and the numerous injuries, we played pretty well (from what I read and heard).

FC Porto will be reinforced by injured players Fabiano, Diego, Carlos Alberto, N. Valente, Pepe, and Vitor Baia, and that is nothing to sneeze at. Mourinho knows better than to take Porto lightly. I'll say one thing, win or lose, should be a great encounter.

This guy is a future star. I've been saying this all along.
A very good win for Porto. They will give Chelsea a tough match.

Thank goodness. So much going against us in this game and still we pull off the win. Chelsea will be tough as usual, but never count out the European Champions!

If we beat Chelsea and Psg beats Cska will both be on 8 points, does anybody know what the first tiebreaker is. Is it goal difference or head to head?

Unfortunately if Porto and PSG tie at 8 points, PSG will advance because they beat Porto head-to-head. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Whatever the scenario may be, we need the 3 points against Chelsea. Hopefully Morinho rests his entire starting 11. Yeah right.

He only played 3 starters today, Carvalho, Gallas,Lampard, hopefully he'll do the same against Porto which i think he will, they've got nothing to play for! :D

    Nuno 4
R.costa 3(would be 4 without that major mistake in the end of the game)
    P.Emanuel 4
    J.Costa 3
    Seitaridis 4/5 superb game
    Bosingwa 3/4
    Costinha 3
    Maniche 4
    Quaresma 1
Derlei 2/3( 2 cause he missed an open goal, 3 cause his hardwork to help Porto)
