    vooodka anyone??? This doesn't sound like a very cozy situtation for Porto.
    Anyways, good luck!

    ...and what 3 defenders? :p
    What's Peixoto doin in there?
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Nuno~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~Seitaridis~~~~J. Costa~~P. Emanuel~~Araies~
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Costinha~~~~~~~~~~~~
    ~~~~~~Maniche~~~~~~~~~~Diego~~~~~~
    ~Quaresma~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Derlei~~
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~McCarthy~~~~~~~~~~~

    Bring on Carlos Alberto for Diego if he's play crap
    Bring on Almeida for Derlei if we need another goal
    Bring on Bosingwa on for Diego if we need to protect a lead late.

    They couldn't score a goal in Porto against these guys. If you are waiting for a big FCP win, I don't think you will see it today...

    This game could be ugly for Porto:

    -10 C
    pitch is wet
    weather--snow

    missing from the lineup: Fabiano, Baia, Carlos Alberto, Valente, Meireles and Diego is only fit enough for the bench.

    I doubt it. I'm going to listen on the radio.

    UEFA.com has a good setup for match statistics, lineups, and photos as well.

    first few minutes don't look good for Porto, I think half of the players are frozen,
    against Caldas in Japan they going to find the same kind of weather

    Golo do Porto!!!!!!!!!!!! Benni McCarthy 28'. There is hope.

    From uefa.com:

    "The Portuguese attack down the right and Giourkas Seitaridis swings over a wonderful floated cross which McCarthy meets and sends a bullet header past Akinfeev into the back of the net."

    Hang on boys!

    On another note, must be some nice lookin Russian dames in the crowd...only hope the boys can keep their focus and composure and see this one thru to victory.

    Would be nice to rub this in the face of a few naysayers...Porto's gettin some bad publicity to due their sub-par play in Europe to this point. A win will clear some of the smear.

    Costinha concedes a penalty--Ignashevich takes for the Russians but misses, firing over the bar. A crucial stroke of good fortune--could this finally be our day?
