I don't think it will be easy for Porto. Loads of injuries and only a few days rest from Internationals.
If Boavista plays as bad as in Alvalade, it will be another walk in the park for FCP. Pacheco has to get his guys to play "a cacetada" once again.
Is this game being evely promoted? Cause it should be, nothing better for spreading game than rivalries. and City Rivalries are the best.
Games like the one Boavista played in Alvalade don't happen too often. They're going to give it all to erase that bad result, and it may just be worst for Porto now that they have something to prove to themselfes and to their fans. That, and of course the fact that Porto is a very irregular team, still not that confident, still not capable of dominating play on a consisten basis... it all adds up to make this a very unpredictable game.
40' minute: 0-0 I have the radio on in the background and this game sounds like a snoozer. For those of you watching this game on SPORT TV. All I have to say is, "Why?"

it happens to the best, a chance for other teams to catch up http://www.record.pt/noticia.asp?id=617243&idCanal=6
Well, it seems LFV and Veiga strategy is giving good results... Lucilio Baptista and his team were great today... 1 penalty for FC Porto in the first half not called, one possible red card to 1 Boavista guy in the begining not called, 1 goal scored by Boavista on offside position... 2 games in a row at home suffering from bad calls... In this game Boavista also suffered an terrible error in a very dangerous offside but the team that suffered the more was FC Porto. About the game FC Porto was lot better, made a good game IMO, Boavista made their usual game, "porrada a torto e direito e queimar tempo", we failed some clear opportunities despite playing with 10 for more than 60 minutes.
SHame on you guys. I can't believe I am reading about you guys whinning. What goes around comes around. Not that often for Porto but it happens. Just remember how you beat Benfica and other teams. So when other complain just listen, don't just say we are poor losers
Parece... how do u explian this, the media say that Boavista was robbed, and u say that LFV and Veiga strategy is giving good results... aren't u biased? oh no..just because media say that, they are wrong you're right.. when i said that Benfica were robbed in some games at least the media said the same thing, now Media say the opposite, i saw the tonito's goal, what happened ? why wasn't it goal? i saw McCarthy attacking the boavista's player (2 times) in england he would take about 5 games of banning, and after that There were Porto's fans mad with the referee about that decision, for God's sake he attacked a player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm watching this game right now on RTPi (tape delayed). Benny McCarthy got carded for throwing a punch and connecting too. The referee didn't see it, but, the linesman called him over and told him what happened. Tonito just had a goal called back for offsides. No offsides there. Porto caught a break. And, just now, Cafu broke away again, offside called. No offside. The play by play guys on both plays say it's not offside. I still haven't seen the Cafu goal, but, Porto fans complaining they got robbed? Welcome to the fold.
"how do u explian this, the media say that Boavista was robbed" --»what media, a Bola and Record... " i saw the tonito's goal, what happened ?" Easy to explain, Cafu was on offside he tried to get the ball the linesman is looking at him so the only thing to do is call the offside, between all this comes tonito from behind going to the same ball that Cafu tried to get, Cafu misses the ball and tonito grab it and score, nothing to say here he called the the offside because Cafu moved to go after the ball. "i saw McCarthy attacking the boavista's player (2 times)" I am sure you also saw, Eder fouls... "There were Porto's fans mad with the referee about that decision, for God's sake he attacked a player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I am not mad about Mccarthy seeing a red card, IMO it ws well shown, despite Milhazes having is hand on Mccarthy neck first.
What game do you saw? The game i saw, we have FC Porto with 10 players dominating and creating danger and other team Boavista with 11 players still defending and occasionally creating some opportunities in counter attack.
You must seen a different game that everyone else. The best chance was Boavista's when frangueiro Baia gave the ball to the Boavista player. You are right about tonito goals but you forgot, or didn't want to mention that Cafu was called offside on another play whenhe he was by himself and the TV that I watched the game on clearly shows him onside. The goal is a close call and remember that FIFA says when in doubt you benefit the attacking team Besides you can't get the benit of the calls all the time. Statitics say that you won't get 100% of calls. So what you get 99% of them
The fact was that against Sporting and against Baovista we had 3 clear penalties not called, and suffered one goal after an offside position. You say isn´t often this situations with FC Porto, well this season i am counting 5 games already... Well we beat Benfica because the ball we shot really crossed the line while others... I never said nothing about you guys being poor losers, this season everyone have reasons to complain about the referees, they have been terrible.
