vs First competitive match of the season. Had to make the thread out of excitement for our season to officially kick off. Besides, the match is only like 5 days away, so discuss
Apparently the average temperature is around 18 degrees. I'd expect decent conditions for this match. As far as the teamsheet goes, we currently lack first team players with enough match fitness to go a full 90, so I'm guessing we'll be seeing the likes of Carragher, Flano, Joke Hole, Pacheco, Eccleston, and Sterling get starts. This could be dangerous considering Gomel is in mid season form. I'd be happy with a 1-1 or a draw of some sort.
Well it will be interesting to see the team sheet for this one. I will not attempt to guess. I hope this is TV.
Even though we should be playing to win, based on where we're at in terms of pre season fitness and considering most of our first team haven't played more than half a game, I expect he'll more than likely play for a draw away and go for the win at home. Away goal on the counter will be a bonus.
So what's that little red blob to the right of the Gomel logo? Have some pride lad.: Got to go for the away goal, stop! Then put it to bed at Anfield.
Nice bedroom you got the Usscouse, but why'd you get rid of the race car bed? Would the spread not fit over it?

Pacheco has tweeted that he isn't traveling to Gomel - poor kid. Figured he'd get a chance - especially after doing quite well so far in this preseason.
Not everyone can play every game and as its not a friendly we cant use unlimited subs. Shelvey and Sterling have been the stand out youth players and Rodgers probably wants others like Gerrard, Borini and Downing to get some minutes on the pitch.
Have my family here with me in the UK and after the disappointment (or lucky escape) of missing the US tour games we decided to keep the family here for a few days extra and take them to the game, so, 8 tickets for the bargain price of 75 quid and we'll all be there. My families first time at a Liverpool match at Anfield. I am really excited for them to finally get to see one at Anfield!
Yeah the 9th. We're here already for work and we decided to stay for a little longer to catch the match.
Maybe not for prep, but certainly for NA supporters. I'm interested to see who starts. Going to be a low scoring match IMO.
