Ironically, FCD needed an 81st-minute goal to beat "one of two or three worst teams in MLS history" on June 22 at home. You are fortunate that the linesman on that particular day did not incorrectly waive off that late goal due to a bogus offside call.

The western conference leading FCD should not have to rely on a competent linesman to keep his flag down on a late game-winning goal against "one of two or three worst teams in MLS history."

Yes, I know that Ronnie, Carlos and EJ did not play that game. Well, Brian Ching, Brian Mullan, Craig Waibel and Troy Dayak did not play in the Quakes-Chivas game.
