Perhaps he's thinking he wants to get a look at certain players in different situations in a tournament that doesn't mean jack.......

Stuttgart's been playing better for the last five minutes only, until then it had been all Bayern.

Finally, Gomez hadn't been doing crap.

With the game being so physical, I'd almost rather see Streller in than Tomasson.

Timo atones for letting in the earlier goal. Of course, it wasn't a very good penalty either.

A couple of notes about the match:

1)Santa Cruz was horrible, he missed so many chances.
2)Makaay played well but he was clearly not 100%, the penalty was pathetic
3)Karimi was ghost in the second half, he rarley got the ball
4)Lucio and Ismael were solid BUT they go forward too much and that was the reason for the second goal
    5)Salihamidzic was our best player.
6)We needed Ballack in the match, he could have opened up the Stuttgart defence
7)Rensing had a good showing and BOTH goals were not his fault.
8)The second goal was absolutley pathetic on the part of Bayern.

All in all congrats to Stuttgart, they really held their own and deserved to win.
