I'm wondering what the names/numbers will look like

The fan shop web page says the fabric isn't good with the numbers.

They'd be alright for a match, but customers expect the kind of durability that FCB probably couldn't guarantee, so they elected not to offer them.

The new home shirt is great, but too similar to the EURO 2016 kit to warrant a purchase for me.

Guess I'll wait for the next World Cup!

I'm a little annoyed at a kit for a 'fake' tournament

Yeah I love price reductions :) soccer.com (my go-to US store) has the EURO 2016 Germany home shirt for $40 , away for $50, and away authentic (minus the reversible stuff) for $72

Very nice! I'd buy one if they were selling them here :(

edit: damn, the US Bayern store does have them! Might be a Christmas present to myself....

The back is totally blank(which I knew).... but in person it looks almost like a training top.

Do you happen to know how much money goes toward Parley / toward cleaning up the oceans?

I did a cursory search and found nothing.

I hope they reveal it soon, my justification to my wife was "it's for the ocean!" [emoji23]

Although I think I read somewhere that 11 bottles go into these kits

Yeah I couldn't find anything either.

But maybe adidas will continue to do this in the future if they sell enough, which is good.

It's still taking bottles out of the environment.

And Adidas needs to figure out how to sell them to the public with patches/numbers. I'll give them a pass on this one as it's the first, but I'm not a fan of "blank" kits

    Yeah it's definitely possible.

Fun fact: In 2010 (!) Nike started using recycled plastic bottles to make their kits (I own a US and a Hertha BSC kit made from recycled materials). Glad adidas is catching up.

Got this in the mail while I was on a business trip. I'm pretty sure I know what it is, any guesses? I'm waiting till Christmas to open it.

I also had 5 Hermes patches waiting for me.

    Why....?

The jersey is beautiful - don't ruin it.
