Granada with the worst defense in La Liga. Barca scored 9 times on them in two matches this season, but of course they took us to extra time in Copa.
Meh. The Europa League league matches aren’t exactly appealing anyway. Arsenal play horrid football and so does Man U. On a more interesting note, Pedri getting a well-deserved rest with Ilaix taking his place. Pedri really needs a rest but the selfish part of me is concerned about him missing out on any of our remaining games this season. Every game is to be treated like a final and featuring our best players. With that being said, I have a lot of faith in Ilaix and truly hope he’s up for the task today. A win is a must. We need to save that slip-up for Atleti. Every other game is a must-win. Also Roberto in for Dest. I hope this pans out for Koeman. Dest hasn’t been consistently brilliant but he seems to be better suited as a wingback than Sergi with that speed and trickery.
Europa League doesn’t interest me either. Just meant that I hope this isn’t something that becomes the norm in the future. lol
So we have 4 players starting that are one yellow card from a suspension- Messi, Frenkie, Griezmann and Mingueza.
I gotta give it to Griez, he’s been great these last two games. What a play by him to put Messi through.
That’s just too lazy by Ilaix. Not his best game today. He got a chance to prove himself, gotta do better there.
