Would you please include the full name "Boston Renegades"? There is no need to abbreviate this. You include much longer team names.
I like the new system (although I have seen the multi-post problem mentioned earlier) with one exception: must we keep the number for "Supporter" teams at three max? I want mine to have Houston, Celtic, Villareal, and STL Athletica (I'm fine with "other" until the WPS teams get added to the list). And I think the list will probably grow in the future.... Can you make it so we can just keep adding?
The New Orleans Shell Shockers (PDL) recently changed their name to the New Orleans Jesters. (Shell Oil was a former sponsor, but left after '07). Please add "New Orleans Jesters" and please do not abbreviate "New Orleans" with "N.O." (as was done with the Shell Shockers). The full name "New Orleans Jesters" is shorter than many, many names on the list and I fear people looking for it will not see the team name under "N.O." and assume it's not listed. Thanks! Forgive me if this was already answered, but why the change to the drop-down? I assume it is so that people don't put in "joke" teams. Would this be accurate?
Yes. But it's so we can integrate results, fixtures and tables into your profile in the near future. Yes, it will eventually be unlimited. And you'll be able to tell us whether or not to display it next to your name or only on your profile. already done.
Huss, in regards to favorite clubs... are there any future plans to cater to college soccer fans like myself? I can certainly understand the potential snags to this plan... but I thought I'd ask anyway!
When I change something in my profile now, I encounter this option. Not that I dislike it, but paying member should have the option not to display this.

after all this time - is there a legitimate rason for these restrictions anymore? - I get links to latest resultes etc for the Revs, RBK and the Breakers on the homepage (presumably from being linked in the supporters group for all 3). It cant be from the favorite club dropdowns as abviously the Breakers arent there). What was the point of all this again?
Bump again. The "N.O. Shell Shockers" don't exist anymore -- you can remove them. Please add "New Orleans Jesters" to the list. They've now played four games in the PDL. http://nolajesters.com
