Favorite pie??

Fruit pies: peach pie

Cream pies: coconut cream

 

Another vote for key lime here.

And lemon icebox is a close second.

My Grandmother's apple. Then key lime.

 

I don't have sepcific pie as a favorite, but my top 5 are:

Lemon meringue
Chocolate Cream
Pecan
Apple (Hot)
Blueberry (Hot)


I'm obviously missing out on the Key Lime pie. I can honestly say I can't remember ever having a slice in my 29 years. I'm going to have to go out and find one.

 

I can almost guarantee you will like it.

 

For hot fruit, Apple, Cherry or Peach, for custard types, Pumpkin, Key Lime, and chocolate creme.

 

I'm a big Key Lime fan but the single greatest pie I've ever had was the pecan pie at Commander's Palace in New Orleans.

 

My mom's rhubarb pie, or my apple pie with a crumb topping.......it is a tossup and I am biased toward the apple too... Damn these tasty treats!

 

My mother makes the best Lemon meringue pie. I'd have to say that that is my favorite.

 

I know melbrown makes a delicious pie with whip cream and strawberries!
