IU upsets the Bruins and fatman gets a trip to Columbus! I'm happy for you fatty, after the whole debacle with the trip to Westwood and all. I hope you have a great time, enjoy copious amounts of food and beer, and watch the young Hoosiers win two games. Let us know what you're wearing so we can stand up in front of our friends while watching ESPN and say, "There's fatman, he rocks!"

    GO HOOSIERS!

    I wish . . .

    hangthadj,
I wish I could make the drive up. I'll be at my family CHRISTmas gathering on Friday, but I may attempt to make the drive from eastern Illinois to Columbus late Friday evening WHEN the Hoosiers beat SCU. The drive from Indy is much shorter than the one from Evansville.
If all else fails, I'll watch the action on ESPN2. At least they've a bit of sense and will show the games.
Aside from this thread, when the Hell will the American media wake up and warm up to soccer? God, I'm so sick and tired of having to scrounge around for soccer coverage by TV and newspapers!

Oh, I don't know that it was going to be on ESPN2..I've gotta remember to tape it, I want to see myself on TV. :) And I better make it on TV.

Haha, also to the kid who's got finals the week after, that sucks. My semester ended last week. Sucker.

Remember, WIUS will have coverage of the Hoosiers run in the College Cup. I'll post more soon.

GOSH DANGIT fatman, they did it!!

The Hoosiers and Coach Yeagley have beaten the odds, silenced the doubters, proven wrong the naysayers, and generally kicked ass over the last month or so!

fatty, I hope you were able to consume mass quantities while trying to stay warm. I'll be looking for your glorious mullet on tomorrow's delayed broadcast.

Shame on you ESPN for missing a great ratings opportunity - we know you're all about the ratings and the money. I'm sure the army of youth soccer players in the U.S.A. would've been "glued" to the set. You could've also broadcast today's awesome WYC quarterfinal between USMNT and ARG and showed America the next generation of soccer heroes, but you suck and you wanted to make sure everyone was set for Sunday's football action. I bet the gambling addicts and bookies are happy they know who is hurt and who will play. Whatever . . .

Sorry, I'm off topic. fatman, don't forget to carbo load tonight and get rested up for Sunday. Way to go Coach Yeagley and team! You're the class act of college soccer.

    GO HOOSIERS!
