I really enjoyed watching Freddy play this past week. The kid is the real deal and anyone who doubts him is a fool. I have never seen anyone so dangerous with the ball at his feet in a long time. And enough with all the age questions. I saw the guy up close and he definitey looks 13 to me. People will talk about his size or whatever, but my cousin is 14 and he's 5' 9" in a size 12 shoe. Anyways, I'll leave you with my quote from Friday night's match vs. Newcastle. -------------------------------------------------- Tickets: $10 Hot Dog and Drink: $5 Watching Freddy Adu school the $#@% out of stunned British defenders: priceless
For this age bs ... I will say again... 6' 0" at 14 with size 14 shoe- me ... i have friends whose 6' 4" another whose 6' 1", 6' 2", 6' 5", and 6' 3". They are all under fifteen... so it really... I would call him small for 14. I think if hes 5' 9" at 14 ... he definetly fourteen because that really isn't that large for 16, 17 and older.
Give me a friggin' break. By that logic, Maradona must be 11 because he's only 5' 5". You can't possibly know Freddie Adu's age by looking at him. You can't possibly know Freddie Adu's age by looking up his birth record (doesn't exist). You can't possibly know Freddie Adu's age, period. End of damn subject. If you say one word more about Freddie Adu's age, you're just making stuff up.
