A late but good piece from thecrew.com http://www.thecrew.com/show.cfm?article=392 Damn, I wish he was still Crew.
Contrast the class of this man with a twerp like Carrieri. See Chris, THIS is what a PRO acts like. Thanks Dante. We miss you, man.
When you look up "Classy Guy" in the dictionary -- Dante's picture is there. What a great team mate and person to represent the organization and Soccer. I have a feeling we'll hear more from Dante.
Pardon my ignorance but what happened to Dante (I'm assuming he was cut) and has he signed on elsewhere or is he calling it a career?
He's playing for A-League side Hampton Roads Mariners. Scored two goals in his debut and added a third Saturday.
My source with the Crew tells me Dante may be back this summer. They may be able to sign him to a short term deal to fill in for call ups during the Confederations and Gold Cups.
Great guy. I enjoyed watching him with Dallas, and he continued to exhibit class in Columbus. He'll be back...somewhere in the league.
