Rick (or anyone else that lives round this way for that matter)

Ive gotta work Saturday morning (9:30-12:30). Gah!. However Ill be out in time for the second half, plus maybe a bit of the first if i RUN.

Do you know, by any chance, what pubs in Waltham Cross are gooner pubs?

Ive never been ANY of them up that way, and the last thing I wanna do is walk into a spurs infested boozer :)

Your best bet in my opinion, is to go down the A1010 just past the M25. Turn right!! at the traffic lights (petrol station on the right), Go down that road until the A10. There is a big pub on the corner. Its mixed, but there is a good Arsenal crowd there. Can't remember the name, sorry. Im also assuming your driving...?

Heh I know the one you mean. On Bullsmoor Lane. Unfortunatly McDonalds dont show live football :)

Place was taken over some years ago if your talking about the Black Horse?

Ive actually been getting the train into work cos the A1010 is snarled up at the moment with roadworks so Id be walking.

No worries though. There is a Moon over water in the town centre. Likely to have the game. Im not gonna be in colours so if its spurs heavy ill just have to keep my voice down :)

 Your serious!!! Jeez, i know its a couple of years, but... McDonalds!!! I suppose that suits the area...... :p

You should be ok there, Waltham Cross and Cheshunt are pretty mixed. You could always make it interesting and go to Tottenham hale, its on the same line.....!! Where do you live then?

Genius!!! Didnt even think of that. If I get out of work sharpish, provided I dont have to wait for a train Ill have 30 minutes to get into Highbury, via Tottenham Hale. Be tight but should make the second half. And the pubs will likely be rammed round there...

I live in Enfield Lock, few mins from the station there. One of the side roads off of Ordanance Road....

Oh ok, I know the area. I used to own a flat on Totteridge Lane, one up from Ordanance off the main road......

Moon Over Water sounds like a Wetherspoons pub, if it is, it WILL NOT have game. they don't have TVs

Under it, over it, there's no TV in it.

The Arsenal will do what must be done.

The majority of Walltham Cross, Cheshunt, and Enfield is "Sperzzzzz territory".
Depending on where you are travelling from, I would suggest going the "extra mile" and getting into Finsbury Park or Highbury and be on "home soil".
Once you get to Finsbury Park station, the world's your oyster.
The Gunners pub is only another 5 minutes from there.
