The magazine asked that with Chelsea also being interested in him, would that have not been a better move for him. Hleb replied that Chelsea would have also been a good move, but that he decided very early on to move to Arsenal. I have no idea what "Topverein" means though. I can't even find that in the dictionary.

Teso's an equal opportunity agitator. In addition to the massive amounts of time he spends here, ragging on Arsenal, he also manages to blast both Rangers and Celtic on the SNIW board.

Is it any wonder I'm trying to make him my co-mod on that board?

For anything like this just go to the Babel Fish Translator. The translations aren't hyper accurate, but they do allow you to figure out what's being said, plus you can enter a URL and Babel Fish will translate the whole web page...

My guess would be that it means "top club" or in other words a great club. I might very well be wrong because I can't for the life of me make the connection between that and that ************ excuse for a football club.

Actually, MT, Teso's quite knowledgeable on Scottish football, overall he's fair to the other posters and, more importantly, he doesn'y have a "dog in the fight" that is the Old Firm.

You probably have had limited dealings with Teso here on the Arse board, and he rubbed some folks the wrong way on this board when he first started, but all in all he's one of the better posters I've come into contact with

It's sort of like my first experience on BigSoccer with Prawn Sandwich: in the fallout after the "Battle of Old Trafford" I called him a brainless twat. Now I know him better and he and I are actually quite a bit alike (although he's a liberal and I'm a conservative, and he's a ManU supporter, but I'm not holding that against him since he's agreed to represent me if I get arrested at the Arse/sperzzz match at WHL next season. ).

Sriously, though, some of the people you think are complete jerks in the beginning turn out to be quite quality individuals...

Rick, on the other hand, started out as a great guy and has rapidly become a jerk as time goes by...

Funny thing is both Coach and I both used to troll and piss people off. In fact the first two people to give me neg rep were both Arsenal fans, one of whom I have now got tickets for, the other I have his membership to get tickets from!!!

No, to be sure Chelsea would have been attractive, they are absolutely a top club. But I decided very early on Arsenal. The club is ideal for me. Moreover, Coach Arsene Wenger had me convinced.
