I saw this several times in the past when in England and always wished they'd be shown in the states on FSW. I was pleasantly surprised to turn on an EPL game the other day and it was a Fanzone game! We've got a thread going over on the Arsenal page about how great Fanzone is. Having the fans as commentators really adds a lot. Anybody know if they will be showing these on a regular basis now? I certainly hope so! It is especially great when the match is rather dull! Let's hope this is part of FSW's expanding EPL coverage!
I love them too, more than a match with regular commentary, seems to me like you can learn more about the players and they don't hesitate to criticize people. I hope they show them during the season.
The fanzone is great. I wish the fanzone was also offered an an option on the MLS Direct Kick package!
I like the fanzone...it got me to watch reruns of games I had already seen which is something I never do. It also got a couple of non-soccer fans to sit through an entire match with me. Now they run around going, "Come on Fulham" in the silliest accent.
