While I see the odds not being in my favor this week, I thought to look on the bright side. Soccer Steve gets his third gold and the lead in the Fantasy Olympics. Lit up the scoreboard with DeBruyne, Matip, Vestergard, Ederson, Gross and Captain Calvert-Lewin.

Real Newark were close behind with Sterling, Welbeck, Ings, Zaha and Matip doing well.

Three car pile up for Bronze (I think the rules allow it) and Honorable Mention to ColdDogSoup who was a point away from a shiny object.

    Gold: Soccer Steve 75
    Silver: Real Newark 71
Bronze: BiggerBoat 62 / FC St. Pauli 62 / Stormin Gunners

    Honorable Mention: ColdDogSoup FC 61

Morning Glory gets their first medal of the season with a gold. Captain Kane along with Maddison and Klich get the big numbers. Cash and McCarthy get the clean sheets and then there were only three players out from injury.

Silver goes to Lokomotiv Lewisham who has the dynamic duo in the back with Bednarek and Justin. Captain Kane again is up front. A clean sheet for McCarthy gets it over the line.

Captain Kane is there again for Bronze winner ColdDogSoup. Fellow Bronze winner, Bunch of Muppets, with Captain Aguero and Vice Captain Aguero have a solid defense and midprice wonders of Armstrong and Eze to shove their place on to the stand.

    Gold: Morning Glory 63
    Silver: Lokomotiv Lewisham 61

blech gets to collect his second gold. The unpredictable forward grouping of Martial, Firmino and Richarlson all rolled out their shining performances in unison. Captain Salah got that questionable PK and Coufal is one of those fine wingers who gets maximum bonus points. All of those factors lining up and it is solid gold!

Glorydaze had a bit of the same. Same Salah PK. Has Martial and Rashford who stole the show against Sheffield United. Just had to suffer a Gabriel red card but manages to know when to put Podence in the starting line up. That red card keeps him from gold... That is the third Silver for Glorydaze.

FC St. Pauli also with seeing Red Gabriel gets it right on the Pep Roulette table with Captain Sterling. Leeds United pair Bamford and Dallas both gets goals in the route of Newcastle United and Neto and Son are a bonus point away each from a double digit haul. Nice Job! Sitting 3rd in a very tight race at the top of VSR but looking ready to pounce to promotion to Small.

Kicking and Screaming were perhaps a Podence chance away from a medal. Raphina goes in for Mahrez keeping 9 points from the pitch.

    Gold: blechs_dawgs 65
    Silver: Glorydaze 63
    Bronze: FC St. Pauli 59

From silver to gold from second to first, both things happened this Gameweek for Glorydaze. The gold medal and the lead in Small and All Rocks. 82 points something usually not seen without a double gameweek. It wasn't just the Salah show for Glorydaze. Jack Grealish with 10, Martial with 11 and budget pairing Wood and Wilson for 9. The back three with 1 apiece kept this from going triple digits.

blech after collecing his second gold last week has to settle for silver but jumps to the lead in VSR. Salah again. Martial again and the mercurial Firmino with a more impressive haul than last week. Choosing the bench is beginning to become a problem. Raphina with 8 would have been golden.

Bronze goes to Keysersoze Wanderes with captain Fernandes. Dias, Welbeck and Grealish are the other heavy hitters to help get that first medal.

    Gold: Glorydaze 82

You've got FC St. Pauli in the table twice. Although I'd love to have a U-21 squad, don't have the time...

Catching up on the fast and furious rate of fixtures. FC St. Pauli get another medal during the audit. This one is with style. Four clean sheets and a goal from goalkeeper Meslier and the backline four of Reguilon, Keane, Dunk and Dallas raise the floor. Then solid performances from Bamford, Neto and Captain Sterling. A big zero for Antonio seems trivial now.

Keysersoze Wanderers with Captain Fernandes, the resurgent Sigurdsson and the reliable pairing of Dias and Bednarek is getting used to hanging around the medal stand. He should have asked for the bigger bag.

Sasha Juniors also got the 24 points from Captain Fernandes for the high floor. Watkin's triple assist and Keane's bonus points edge him past Lokomotiv Lewisham.

Keysersoze Wanderers does the awesome feet of going from Bronze, to Silver and finally to Gold in three consecutive gameweeks. Only one point lower than GW 15. This time it is a clean sheet for the goalkeeper and the back three of Ogbanna, Wan-Bissaka and Bednarek. Fabianski was fielded but the backup Darlow matched him point to point. Then Captain Fernandes and the Leeds pairing of Rodrigo and Harrison for a great showing as Dier, Dias and Sigurdsson had matches cancelled and Welbeck had his injury.

Tangers FC was only two points away getting silver. Captains Robertson who gets a clean sheet and maximum bonus points. Has the Leeds pair of Rodrigo and Dallas for 20 more points. A couple of clean sheets and just getting every point out of 11 players makes the difference. First medal for Tangers FC is Silver.

With the crazy gameweek, 53 points gets Lokomotiv Lewisham the Bronze. Vice Captain Mane takes over for Captain Kane. Then the familiar names of Robertson, Dallas and Bednarek are back with McCarthy in goal for 9. That gets him gold just past Bunch of Muppets and Morning Glory.

    Gold: Keysersoze Wanderers 62
    Silver: Tangers FC 60

Soccer Steve is doing it in style. 4 medals and "all Gold baby!" I am imagining Austin Powers here. Captain's Calvert Lewin and a deuce but no bother. There was DeBruyne in striker position, Soucek who has 5 goals in his last 9 matches, Cresswell the #4 defender (who would have thought) and then Ings, Saiss, Tielemans and Guaita with a 7 or better. He is now top of the standings!

Aviators captains DeBruyne and also with Soucek grabs Silver. First medal of the competition for Manager Hal.

Then we have a three car pile up for Bronze.

Virgil Reality with Captain Son has a double Arsenal defence along with the surprise Southampton clean sheet against Liverpool. First time on the medal stand for Virgil Reality!

Top Shelf with a DeBruyne captain has Madison's 10 and three defensive players with 6 or better.

Morning Glory with captain Kane has an Arsenal double up of Lacazette and Saka along with a Madison 10. All 4 defenders get a one and Pope and McCarthy were both no shows. Highs and lows towards a medal worthy weekend!

    Gold: Soccer Steve 74
    Silver: Aviators 66

Aviators and Morning Glory get to jump back on the medal stand. This type balancing together on Bronze. I think that is what happens when two players also tie for Gold.

Those two with gold are ColdDogSoup FC and Journeymen. Lobo with captain Kane among 8 outfield players that got game time, did it with Man City pairing Cancelo and Dias and back into the fold Reguilon. Who needs to defend if you can counter.

Journeymen the proud owner of ColdDogSoup cast off Phil Foden gets gold despite captaining Saka. It was all in the back with clean sheets for Shaw, Holding, Stone and Ederson.

Aviators again captains DeBruyne for good effect and is another one with the points coming from the back line with Keane's header and two clean sheets out of Manchester sides. Dias again and Wan-Bissaka.

Morning Glory gets the heavy lifting with captain Kane and is another proud Phil Foden owner. Not enough Manchester defense keeps him from going even higher. If only Telles could have been paired with Maguire.

    Gold: ColdDogSoup FC 48 / Journeymen 48

Lacazette is the most frustrating striker, he will score for five games straight and then won’t score for months. The inconsistency is maddening...

I miss the days of Henry and Bergkamp, they brought it every week and it was the highlight of my live soccer days to watch them both play at Highbury (looking forward to watching games live again someday after this pandemic crap is over with). The Henry jersey in my profile picture was bought there, my favorite stadium of all time. Watching the Gunners from the North Bank seats was the best:thumbsup:

If you captained John Stones, you might want to start making your way down to the stage.... FC Epikoinis. Time to switch that Jersey Number to 54.

No medals for me this week with my strikers disappearing and now Vardy has a hernia! I don’t envy him, those things suck and I had a bad one last year (felt like my intestines were ready to spill out which is not good). Luckily the doctor that did the surgery does hernia surgeries every day so I said that’s the doctor that I’m choosing for this! Now my intestines are happily inside my body and not on the ground somewhere:ROFLMAO:

Three teams broke through the 100 point barrier with triple digits to make the medal stand.

FC Epikoinis with Captain John Stones had an early lead and never looked back. 119 is a massive haul. Even one match Arsenal trio of Leno, Aubameyang and Smith Rowe added 27 points wile Girourd and James just 3. But 54 points from your captain is epic.

15 points behind is Top Shelf whose captain DeBruyne managed 16 points but there was double gameweek magic coming from Antonio, Maddison and Coufal hitting double digits. Not sure if I am the only one kicking myself to not trade Calvert-Lewin for Antonio and take the 4 point hit in our open teams but Michail did as expected with two great home matches.

Rounding out the 100+ club is Virgil Reality. He needed his Bench Boost to do it where there were 16 points in waiting. Barnes and Gundogan were his two Kings of the Gameweek. Meanwhile, Cavani impressed in his first outing for the squad after being brought in for Aguero.

    Gold: FC Epikoinis 119
    Silver: Top Shelf 104
    Bronze: Virgil Reality 101

Sorry again guys. Thank you @tarvinodos for carrying this on. I have to admit I am struggling for time at present. In between working flexi-furloughed and also working part-time I am also acting as a volunteer responder for our NHS. I also have to make time for my family so time on the laptop for myself is fewer and farther between for now.

I am still updating my team each week but struggling to check and make transfer changes. Those that know me will know that I do like to 'tinker' on a weekly basis almost. Not this season so far but rest assured I am still 'active' just not as active as I'd like to be.

    GW 20 and GW 21

    GW 21:
Starting with the latest and the story starts with Salah is back.

On top with Gold is Glorydaze, now in second in All Rocks, captains Salah, has original draft pick Wilson hit double digits and enought solid scores all around for a score of 83.

Virgil Reality who we have seen a lot around the medal stand, grabs silver without Captain Salah. It is Captain Son instead but with 3 players in the Kings of the Gameweek on the squad - Wilson, Pereira and Martinez, and with 21 points coming from a back three in defense and it just adds up.

Kopite is another with Captain Salah who contributes 30 of the 63 points, dragging his team to get that Bronze!

    GW 21
    Gold: Glorydaze 83
    Silver: Virgil Reality 76
    Bronze: Kopite Juniors 63

    Honorable Mention: blechs_dawgs 59

    GW 20:

Kicking and Screaming rode the Saka, Raphinha and Cancelo wave to gold. Good thing Captain Sterling had a chance to even get onto the pitch.

Real Newark also with Captain Sterling, had Soucek with his brace, Lacazette with a goal and two assists and Thago Silva with a clean sheet and maximum bonus points. Harrison and Zaha get the goal and it is back to the medal stand.

Soccer Steve gets on the medal stand with Vice Captain Soucek wracking up 30 points as first choice Aguero is left benchside. Enough solid scores from Leicester paring Barnes and Tielemans and the rare Chris Wood goal, get Soccer Steve to extend his lead.

Meanwhile blechs_dawgs is honorable mention two weeks in a row and Virgil Reality has to hop off the stand for one gameweek to just hop back on again.

    GW 20
    Gold: Kicking and Screaming 82
    Silver: Real Newark 78
    Bronze: Soccer Steve 73

    Honorable Mention: blechs_dawgs 64 / Virgil Reality 64

Gameweek 22 had three headlines. 9-0 Manchester United and -7 Bednarek. Exit stage right Salah and come in the Red Devil acrobatic team. An tonights headliner, Jesse Lingard.

Having all three was Keysersoze Wanderers. Captains Dias and Vice Captains Grealish. Fernandes is there with Wan-Bissaka starting a human pyramid and Jesse Lingard is off in the wings sharing a joke with Bednarek. Well Bednarek kept it from going to gold. 77 is not bad when you are carrying -7.

Getting gold, was Sasha Juniors. Captain Fernandes doing half the work with 34 points and Calvert-Lewin getting more than 6 points. Something not seen since GW9.

Bring home the Bronze, Pararaiders, also with Captain Fernandes but paired it with a sublime second half performance from Martial. 13 points in 45 minutes. What a work rate!

Sasha Juniors and Pararaiders keep their spots on the medal stand. Both with Captain Fernandes. Pararaiders had a late Leeds surge with Harrison and Bamford. Sasha Juniors left Calvert-Lewin with 12 points in the middle of the bench. Had Mahrez ahead and somehow picks Tarkowski over the two of them.

Silver goes to FC St. Pauli who had the late Leeds surge as well with Meslier, Dallas and Bamford wracking up 28 points on the final game of the week. With Captain Son and Optional Captain Sterling on the squad now sit second in All Rocks.

Sharing Bronze with Pararaiders is Kicking & Screaming. Captains Raphinha over Sterling but keeps Calvert-Lewin up front with Bellerin and Targett sharing the bench.
